  2. These 50k are deaths of Russian fighters that the BBC can individually confirm, meaning the BBC knows the name of every single soldier. BBC has never put out estimates on losses. What do you think is the ratio between all pro-Putin fighters put out of combat by death, injury, imprisonment or illness compared to the number of deaths with their identity individually confirmed by the BBC using open source intelligence ? The ratio between wounded and dead is usually between 4 to 1 and 8 to 1 in war. Are we confident the BBC identified the dead ... 90% of them ? 60% ? I'd say IDing 50% of the identities of Russian losses would already be very remarquable. so the real number is maybe around 100.000k then, using the wounded - dead ratio, it's easy to come close to the estimates of 500k +
  3. She hasn't done a good job because people don't like her ? That's a new one.
  4. Another small fire in Sattahip today, wonder who was to blame this time? District authority? Fire service? Or maybe the person doing the cooking? Minor incident, but I am sure someone can find a suitable/unsuitable comment. 555555 At least no other news station will report this one.
  5. Lithium Ion is being replaced with Lithium Iron Phosphate in all but extended range/performance variants and there will be huge improvements in battery technology. Hydrogen Fuel Cell will find its way into long distance haulage/transportation but it’s too expensive for the humble motor car. It costs 5 times more per kilometer than a BEV because of inefficiencies of either ICE or HFCEV. Liquid Hydrogen is a non-starter (despite Toyota announcing it this month) for several reasons, principally you use a third of the energy in the hydrogen to compress it into a liquid, secondly, it has to be stored in cryogenic tanks at -253°C that means you can’t park it up for a few days.
  6. Dear oh dear utterly....am lost for words ! Referendum won on a pack of lies from the Grifters Johnson Mogg and Co to further enhance their bank balances If the Ref. was re run tomorrow of those that would vote you'd see 90% want an immediate return and only 10% to remain in this catastrophic situation we are currently in Of course unfortunately it will mean adopting the Euro as that was made quite clear when we left but thats a small price to pay
  7. The true air temperature is not much different, what is different is the temperature you feel, maybe 10 degrees C above the shade temperature.
  8. Not sure of the point you're making but the average of those (Observed variation in price changes) numbers is no where near 2%. And agreed CORE CPI DOES strip out 'inconvenient' items to hide the real inflation rate. CORE CPI is the number they refer to when they talk about inflation on the news / in the media etc.. As per my last post, I'm in the UK now and REAL inflation is at leat 15% - many prices have doubled since 2020 in line with the amount of money printed from thin air since the flu rebranding of 2020
  9. He has been claiming his innocence for many months already. makes you wonder what materials is there to present if you not involved at all ? And how can there be so much materials for someone who is supposedly not involved ?
  10. Trump's oversized ego to announce his campaign early so that he can be in the spotlight and get the RNC to pay his legal bills was a big mistake. His hateful and inflammatory campaign rhetoric may excite his cult followers but turned off moderate Republicans and Independents. The long campaign displayed in full view his mental cognitive decline. Meanwhile Joe had a nice steady pace and building momentum towards November; a strategy that he adopted in the last election with resounding success. He will win again this time while Trump may not make it to November.
  11. ,...."He claimed he found a knife on the road and stabbed Shi with that weapon.",.....Yeah sure,....knives lay just around on the street,....
  12. Its a Mercedes and they offer only two colours, black and white. And most Thais choose black.
  13. Honking itself is a culture upon itself. There is the short one beep type, a short two beep type for “ look out warning” a long blast honking for “ look I am getting impatient “ a really long blast honking meaning “ fxxx you , get out of there ! Do you know who I am “ using car headlamps highlighting is a better choice for certain situation and again there is highlighting culture involved too.

  19. A report from the House of Commons Library shows that the pension systems of Ireland, Denmark and the Netherlands are arguably good European comparators for the UK State Pension system. This is because like the UK, these countries also provide a flat-rate state pension based on the number of qualifying years a person amasses during their working life. Ireland Ireland pays a non-means-tested, flat-rate pension to people from the age of 66 who have made enough social insurance contributions. The full rate is available for those with 48 or more qualifying years. As of 2021, the full pension amount is €248.30 (or £214) per week. Netherlands The Netherlands follows a pension system that consists of a basic state pension that is linked to the country’s minimum wage. A single pensioner gets an amount worth up to 70% of the net minimum wage. A pensioner couple gets the equivalent to 100% of the net minimum wage (50% each). The pension amounts are revised each January and July, alongside the minimum wage itself. The pension system is also residence-based. Individuals accrue 2% of the full pension amount for every year they reside in the country between the age of 15 and the pension age (up to a maximum of 50 years). Currently, the full pension amount stands at €1,218.19 per month (around £260.84 per week) for a single person. For married or cohabiting couples, it is €832.86 per month (£178.33 per week).
