  2. That's why they invented business class which over the last 10 years has improved to first class standards on some airlines.
  3. Once we're free from the EU human rights laws I'm going to lobby my MP back home for some reciprocity regarding the rights of foreigners who live in the UK. Simple things like limiting the number of Thais who can have citizenship to 100 per year, land ownership by foreigners who's countries don't allow British citizens to own land in their home country, that kind of thing.
  4. Agree with what you say, except he wasn't little, either in stature, or in the rest that you mention. It must have been an enormous shock for him when he realised his stooge wasn't going to be able to carry on with his programme, and all the crimes might come out.
  5. Total mumbo jumbo, again no such thing has any proof whatsoever, except of course in "belief" and "Faith"

  7. I think they must spend a lot of time reproducing though. More fun than cricket too, or at least the act of insemination is, though having to find a huge dowry for the girls must be a drag.

  9. No. Because it is the truth. Some see it, and some do not. Are you saying you approve of their job performance?
  10. Yeah, I remember someone noting that in the earlier thread. Annoying.
  11. I meant "almost as fast", not "almost as good". Apologies.
  12. Loved the person wearing a rabbit's head. Wonder if s/he understands that s/he represents a pest that needs to be eradicated, though I understand rabbit pie is quite tasty, as long as one removes all the shotgun pellets first.

  14. Weekly Cabinet Resolutions BANGKOK, 19 April 2019 (NNT) - The Cabinet’s meeting this week resulted in many resolutions, including preparations for the construction of the third runway at Suvarnabhumi Airport to accommodate an increased number of flights, and preparation of the plastic waste management roadmap which is considered a major problem that the government has placed importance on. The Cabinet’s meeting approved a draft Roadmap for Plastic Waste Management, 2018 – 2030 in accordance with the order of the Prime Minister which engages all sectors in reducing the use of plastic materials to protect the environment. The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment has prepared a draft roadmap to be used as a policy framework for plastic waste management. It is divided into two phases. The first phase is reducing the use of plastic and using environmentally friendly renewable materials instead. By the year 2019, three types of plastic must be discontinued. They include plastic bottle caps, oxo-degradable plastics and plastic microbeads. By the year 2022, another four types of plastic will be discontinued. They include plastic bags with a thickness of less than 36 microns, Styrofoam food containers and plastic straws. The second phase will be to recycle 100 percent of the target plastic waste by 2027. The unwanted waste will be disposed of properly. This is expected to reduce the amount of plastic waste by approximately 780,000 tons per year and save about 3.9 million baht in waste management costs per year. The Cabinet meeting also allowed Airports of Thailand Company Limited or AOT to construct a third runway at Suvarnabhumi Airport, with a budget of over 21 billion baht, on the condition that the AOT undertakes an environmental impact analysis both in terms of the quality of the environment and natural resources and health. The construction of the third runway is aimed at allowing Suvarnabhumi Airport to accommodate a greater volume of air traffic. Once the construction is completed, it will be able to accommodate 30 flights per hour. When the two existing runways are included, it will be able to accommodate up to 94 flights per hour. This will effectively increase the competitiveness of the country and raise Thailand to the position of aviation hub of the ASEAN region. Meanwhile Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha is scheduled to attend a ceremony to celebrate the successful construction of the Thai-Cambodian Friendship Bridge (Ban Nong Ian-Sateung Bot); a ceremony to lay a foundation stone for the construction of the Customs House building and the roadway connecting the Thai border and the Cambodian border, the opening ceremony of Ban Khlong Luek Boundary Post Railway Station, a ceremony for the signing a joint agreement on a train service operation between the Thai government and the Cambodian government, and a ceremony for the delivery of a diesel train on Monday 22, 2019, in Aranyaprathet district, Sa Kaeo province. The draft agreement on the train service operation between Thailand and Cambodia will connect the transportation network of the southern economic corridor and promote the transfer of people and goods between Thailand and Cambodia, which will benefit trade, investment, tourism and the travels of the people from both countries. -- © Copyright nnt 2019-04-19
  15. what is stopping a group various of parties forming a majority government ? is someone feeling left out
  16. THis is about as vague as you cna possibly get and brings nothing to the discussion.
  17. Yes one is better and this is mostly gobbledey gook. Even more vagueness. Unlike religion science is sometimes wrong, its there to be tested, religion is not even though science has on too many occasions proven it wrong.
  18. it is a two way thing so yes spy away but it has to work in both directions
  19. At the Big Cs there is an Indian stall that has a nice veg curry rice for 80 baht. The Central and South locations are East of 3rd road though (I'm on Buakao). Anyone know a cheaper priced Indian food place on the West Side? As eating out goes Indian places tend not to layer on the oil which I like. Lots of tasty veg heavy dishes too
  20. They can enter the hospital from the police station entrance on Choafa east. The land where the hospital sits used to be the police holding yard for all the smashed cars from horrific accidents. So it has a East and West entrance.
  21. Yes, population reduction IS the answer, but NO ONE in government, the pro warming scientific community, the protest movement is talking about that. BTW, it's just a waste of time talking about the problem if one has no solutions, but we live in a stupid society that just likes to protest about everything, without any idea how to better the lives of us all. A world of Chicken Littles; bah humbug.
  22. Future Forward’s Piyabutr given nine days to clarify various allegations BANGKOK, 19 April 2019 (NNT) - The Technology Crime Suppression Division has given Future Forward Party’s Secretary-General time to submit his statement against charges of contempt of the constitutional court and violation of the Computer Crimes Act, by 25th April.
