  2. Summer of Rockets. Good British drama that takes place in the 50's. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8001214/?ref_=nv_sr_2?ref_=nv_sr_2
  3. Posts and replies bickering about Private Grammar Schools have been removed. Inflammatory posts and the replies have been removed.
  4. For gods sake stop being silly. 'Independent' is just another name for 'private' The school I linked to was an example of a current private fee paying school. The PRIVATE grammar school I went to was Clarks College, Finchley which no longer exists http://www.clarkscollege.co.uk/finchley.html Back to the topic...people posting support for Farage remind be of trump supporters, a guy who is similar to Farage with his support of despicable people such as le Pen, Orban etc etc
  5. You can count on one thing a crowd looking at your body just to add to your demise RIP
  6. That is great information. I will now sleep well tonight safe in the knowledge that the Embassy is protecting me.
  7. What's truly a clueless charge is that the FBI, motivated by political prejudice, conducted an investigation of Donald Trump. What I have yet to read or hear how such accusers reconcile this with the fact that the FBI kept the Trump investigation completely confidential before the 2016 election. I also note that they have failed to reconcile their claims with the fact that James Comey publicly revealed a reopening of the investigation of Hillary Clinton shortly before the election on grounds that proved to be utterly empty.
  8. This is exactly the problem !! We are being forced into taking out health insurance that is totally wrong for our needs as well as being ridiculously overpriced.
  9. I'd rather not. The 500 baht fines start to add up. And since I will be here for 6 months or so out of the year it makes since to get one. I grow tired of going 20 minutes out of my way to avoid the traffic stops around old city.
  10. Amazing, new rules are made up as we go along, never heard anything about showing bank book 3 months after getting extension, are you guys make up this stuff....!!! IO office in Phuket never said such a thing when I got my extension 2 weeks ago, and even if they did I wouldn't be here to do it, I'm go abroad soon...! I imagine this is something they check at the next extension application...., I have been to immigration offices 7 times for various things this last few months, I call it Wat Imm now...! getting a bit ridiculous, how about I give then my online banking credentials and done with it....!?!,@$#
  11. the few times I took the bus and wanted to get off a bur earlier, just walked next to the driver and asked him (with a smile ) to stop and it worked
  12. I've been living in a studio condo in Jomtien Beach for two years now, and during that time, my electrical bill has ranged from 1100 to 2600 Baht/month. Suddenly, last month, it jumped noticeably to 2900 Baht, and this month (May) it's now 3900 Baht. I've lived in different locations in Thailand for over 12 years, either in a 1-bedroom or studio condo, and I've never seen a bill this high. And I'm paying directly to the government (PEA), so there's no middleman taking a cut. Nothing has changed in my condo: the A/C unit is still the same, I use it (and everything else) pretty much the same as before. What I find particularly troubling is that the usage on my bill has skyrocketed from an average of 580 units over the previous 6 months to 892 units as of the May bill. So, it's not that the rates have changed, but the usage has increased around 50%. I'm well aware that we're into the hot season now, and that my AC unit is probably working harder now than it was in December, but this has been true every summer for the past 12 years, and the bills have never been this high. Just for kicks, I thought I would check to see if anyone has illegally piggybacked onto my electrical lines, so I switched off the main breaker in my condo to see if the meter still showed usage, but it was stopped dead - so it looks like that's not the case. I mentioned my concern to the agent from whom I rented the room, as she manages something like 100 rooms and tenants in Jomtien, and she said that quite a number of people have complained to her about the same thing. I will explore this with her in more detail next week. But I can't imagine any change that would impact the actual usage measured in different condo units, unless the electricity authority (PEA in this case) did something like roll out a new software update to the customer meters that would measure usage differently. Although I've seen some meters that are entirely digital (which might be susceptible to such a change), my particular meter has a mechanical rotating wheel, which suggests to me that it's an analog meter, rather than digital - but I have no idea if there are also any computer components in this meter that accept software updates which might explain this change. I know we're in the age of smart meters now, but I don't know if mine is entirely dumb, or just partially smart. I'm grasping at straws here, but I thought I would throw this out to see if anyone else in the Pattaya area has noticed a sudden increase in their billed electrical usage.
  13. There is absolutely nothing to prevent us rescuing British Steel by re-nationalization - the Ffrench did it recently with one of their ship yards. Equally there is nothing to prevent us importing skilled labour from outside the EU - it's only our own immigration quotas and restrictive regime that prevents it. The NHS is in the middle of recruiting nurses from all over the globe. The muslim terrorist thing is rubbish too.
  14. I said besides Casinos and Visa procedures everything else is in Thailand better in comparison with Cambodia. That than also including hospitals.
  15. Pharmaflex RX-Don't lose your brain. Wellness is often treated unfairly. I, equivocally, do not get Wellness. No kidding… This is one of the high profile industries. You have to stop thinking like an everyday Wellness consumer. If that is the case, professional help with Wellness could be just what you need. For the moment at least, so what do we do concerning this? I saw quite a few glowing reviews on Pharmaflex Wellness. That was a normal announcement. It is how to begin living and prevent worrying. I feel like I was left out of this. Wellness is still very much in its infancy. It is certainly true what they tell on Wellness. I will continue to work on other Wellness also. That wasn't a crucial problem. As you know, the days of Wellness are just starting. That drives me nuts. Apart from Wellness, you won't locate anything. That is a rare opinion as this regards to Wellness because it is somewhat related to your emotional well being. I've mentioned how essential it is to understand both sides. I recommend you try this sometime. That was mind boggling. We have to decrease spending. You are causing a big problem Pharmaflex,Pharmaflex RX,Pharmaflex RX Reviews. 17. Urgent : Court to consider shares case against Thanathorn, suspends him from office By The Nation File photo : Future Forward leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit The Constitutional Court on Thursday unanimously agreed to accept the case to consider whether Future Forward leader Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit should be disqualified as an MP candidate due to questions about the timing of his handing over of shares in a media company in the lead-up to the recent election. The Court also ordered that the anti-junta politician be suspended from office until the case is settled. That order will prevent Thanathorn from entering Parliament on Thursday. Thanathorn has been accused of holding shares in media company V-Luck after the election period had started, which is prohibited under the Constitution and electoral laws. Thanathorn has denied the accusation, claiming that he transferred the shares to his mother long before the deadline. 18. When the last convoy to the airport, escorted by all the new fast wheeled armoured vehicles they have bought, leaves central Bangkok, I hope that they have a seat saved for Seri Suwannapanon. It would be a terrible shame if he were to be left behind to "face the music" as they say!
