Beautiful when young, then look like fat sows when they had a few kids and get up their in age... somewhat like the latina mamas...
Funny I was just thinking about that this morning...

It was late morning and it looked like I remember UK towns to be on a Sunday in the 1970s, closed and shuttered, hardly any traffic to speak of and hardly any people walking about. I had read the reports of course, but it still came as quite a shock to see first hand.
Just cos the girlie bars are closed doesn't mean Pattaya is a ghost town... Why don't you try taking a drive down Sukhumvit road in the morning between 7.30 and 13.00... still plenty of traffic and to me traffic means life... but maybe not in the red light district.

As a chef friend once shared, the soup de jure is usually the leftover soup of last night.
your chef friend should know what he is talking about ... likely he was a diner cook... ; )

Thank you for your comment. I am sure that you have a lot of data behind your assertion.
No... no... thank you for your service as a bar stool doctor or nurse...
Let's wait and see who comes out right about this conundrum.
I would love to be wrong, but I don't trust rushed out vaccines and who knows maybe people are actually wearing masks in the west...
By the way you say 'WE' all the time I guess you are with the CDC
"On the other hand, we now have a lot of experience"
"So, we know vaccines work."
And yes... vaccines work once they have been tested over a decent period of time...
I will wait and see

Funny 10 days ago had to go shopping in Pattaya and I was stuck in traffic... I dunno... seems like same old same old ... but I never been big on giving my business to the beach mafia. They've been through a lot in the last 2-3 years maybe this will be the survival of the fittest scenario and only the fittest will survive in the end. Truth is I probably am not a very nice person but I could care less what happens to these hawkers...

Hmmm I really wonder about how badly Thais are into debt right now. Back home when there is an economical crisis the first indicator that things aren't going so well is I can see cars going up for sale at a decent price... and the housing market sees a sudden boom in available hoses and it becomes a buyer's market. Here... nothing works as predicted and I guess that if things weren't going well and there would be a boom in housing and cars for sale that the prices would actually go up rather than down...
Been here nearly 2o years and it still is a mystery the way Thais think...
Go figure...????

I live in Rayong... right next to Chonburi and have to go to hospital there on a regular basis... can I go in from Rayong, then out?
Sounds silly but just curious...

Don't include me in your 'we', I'm OK with death.
And if you gave me 88k GBP, I'd find a better use for it than trying to extend my life another year.
How selfish would you have to be, as an old man whose life is over, to expect others to give you 88,000GBP/year to live a little longer? Better to use that money to buy milk powder to feed starving African children, etc. ................
First of all... no one can verify your tough guy talk... maybe you are not a walk the walk type of guy... but who knows... everyone is a tough guy behind a keyboard...
2nd... If I were diagnosed as terminal... there is a whole lot of people I would go visit to settle some debts Louisville style... and you can take that to the bank... Who cares if I go to prison?... I ain't gonna be here for a long time anyways...
3rd... If I make it till 93... chances are I would be afraid too, just as my uncle... let me know when you get to 93 then we can continue this debate...
As for the "we" it pretty much sums up how must 'normal' people feel...

Guess I am living in some parallel world, sorry.
I agree with you. Tats don't make the man but they do dampen my enthusiasm... and I am surprised to find as little sympathy for this guy here on TV... I guess everyone is tired of go fund me pleas. If it were me... I would go back to my country and smoke up a storm of grass until I die... I would not want to be a burden on others and I would rather be off to greener pastures rather than be set for suffering for the next few years.
I have an uncle who used to talk the talk about how he didn't fear death and how he would rather pass away bravely rather than suffer... he is now 93 and sooo very scared of dying...
Point is, I guess we are all brave with our lives until we are faced with losing them...

I have a 7000bht clarte water filtration system with a uv light. Haven't bought water in 6 years. I would NEVER settle for just boiling water. When I change my filters they are brown and nasty and nothing will get that out of the water, especially only boiling. Do yourself service and forget about how long it takes to break even, as most cheap charlie foreigners do and splurge on yourself. We are 70% water apparently...

A secondary definition is eager, which is often how I use it. "I'm anxious to get the new car I ordered; I can hardly wait."
Not really... sorry dude I used to make that mistake all the time too until I learned the right usage...
1. experiencing worry, unease, or nervousness, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome."she was extremely anxious about her exams"2. wanting something very much, typically with a feeling of unease."the company was anxious to avoid any trouble"google it or use a decent dictionary -

Anxious or eager?
Anxious means with apprehension... are you worried about your travels even if you have vaccine?

I don't think that many people are up to traveling these days. Traveling also costs money and everyone is saying how bad the economic situation is globally, or is it?

Move Forward party proposes law amendment to prevent distortion of laws
in Thailand News

It's about time...
But as for law enforcement officers it should first make sure they actually know the law...
Which they don't. I have first hand experience with officers making up their own law and siding with a Thai when it was the Thai who actually wronged me.
