  1. Luma or April are just specialized insurance brokers in health. The ones actually giving you headaches may be the health insurance underwriters themselves. if you would like to explore health insurance directly with insurers, popular ones are Aetna or Cigna or Pacific Cross as the thread starter said. Always read before you sign
  2. After residing and working in Bangkok for some time. I decided to return to Singapore during the pandemic period for good. Singapore may be sterile overall but more stable especially for career prospects. Thailand could be a place to retire instead. Wouldn’t really recommend working there
  3. For a quartz model, most watch shops should be able to assist
  4. Singapore, although sterile, is more stable all around. Especially for having better career prospects Bangkok is likely more cost effective for retirement or having a nice holiday. Spent more than 4 years working and residing in Bangkok and decided to return to my native Singapore. I did meet many Singaporean expats. Most of them were married to a Thai. Some had been based there for long periods and returning home was not a viable option my view is, better to earn Singapore money and spend your holidays in Bangkok. Working there is quite a different experience
