  1. Indeed, not really the same thing, but will it achieve what is wanted? If tracking a stolen bike, then yes. Also does not need wiring to the bikes battery, no sim card either. Anyway, just suggesting an alternative. Nothing wrong with a gps tracker either if that is your preference,
  2. As an alternative, you could put a Samsung smart tag, or Apple air tag on the bike. No need to start messing about with wiring then. They do work best with the applicable make of phone.
  3. I am sure that I saw somewhere that the Chow Soy cook was retained at the new establishment. so maybe go in and ask. The bar is now called "Dinky's" I believe.
  4. That is an excellent guide, and very helpful. Thank you Have you made any similar Fill in's and guides, TM7, TM47, for example? EDIT: I found your TM7 guide. Many thanks again.
  5. Hi, I have been the last couple of years and the parking for our car was free.
  6. Unbelievable value. Cheaper than a Honda Forza, well the speed is, scrambler almost the same price, ????
  7. Thank you. I also like the look of the new 400 bikes ????
  8. Hi, Do you have to oil or similar to the inside of the silicone to aid loaf removal? Thanks
  9. Thank you for the info. I guess the local Triumph dealer in Pattaya may do this?
  10. Thanks for the replies guys. I contacted the UK visitor experience on Facebook, who confirmed that it does not have this in Thailand.
  11. Hi, In the UK, the Triumph factory has a Triumph Factory Visitor Experience, which is a factory visit described here: https://www.triumphmotorcycles.co.uk/for-the-ride/experiences/factory-visitor-experience Does anyone know if there is something similar at one of the factories in Thailand? Thank you.
  12. A good point as you mention the excellent fit and finish, so I would say that it's basically a Triumph designed bike, built to Triumph standards by Bajaj. Semantics by myself, as I am a Triumph fan. Similarly, as Bajaj build some KTM's. Also remember, most Triumphs are made in Thailand now, very few in England.
  13. Always the same every year, I don't know why they have to leave it so late. Have you noticed that also the hotels are sold out even before the race date is announced. Someone is getting insider info. We have to stay in Surin again. FYI. The Malaysia GP is two weeks later, and the tickets have been available for some time already. https://www.sepangcircuit.com/ticketing/2022-petronas-grand-prix-of-malaysia-2022-21-23/petronas-grand-prix-of-malaysia-2022-21-23-oct-(4)
  14. Try Born Biker. A big selection of good helmets, Bell, HJC etc. BORN BIKER 1/25 Bang Lamung District, Chon Buri https://goo.gl/maps/TiCZR8B3gq8d8PoT6
  15. I brought my ADV350 from Mityon Honda on Theprasit rd Pattaya. Ordered it in April, arrived 6 weeks later in June. Well worth the wait, as it is a fantastic bike.
  16. Hi. Just a quick update. I did eventually take the plunge and brought the ADV 350. Absolutely love it. Very easy to ride and comfortable. A surprising turn of speed also. It is the first Honda scooter I have owned, I also own an Aerox. The stand out points are how smooth it is to ride, the engine is real smooth and suspension great. The fit and finish is also very good. After riding it for nearly 5 months, I would not hesitate to buy again. Cheers.
  17. I have seen the Click 160 in Mityon Honda, Thep Prasit rd, Pattaya.
  18. I asked about availability of the ADV350 in two of Mityon Honda Pattaya shops (Mityon has pretty much a monopoly in Pattaya) and also Bowin Honda dealers Chonburi. None knew when they would get stock. I asked if they had any update at all from Honda, and they said they are told nothing. How can Honda not give at least some time scale, 1 month, 2 months, whatever? Surely they have a production schedule, even if there is a chip shortage. When asked, none of the staff even knew where the bikes for Thailand where made. One guessed at Vietnam! FYI, It is not just Honda having new bike supply difficulties. I was in the Yamaha dealers and they had a new XMax. I asked how long was the waiting time for that, and was told that was ordered in January. Secon hand prices will be going up at this rate!
  19. Yes, my friend's Aerox dash went the same. Free replacement, even though the bike was 4 years old, and when brought the bikes had 3 years warranty. As mentioned is now 5 years on new Aerox/Nmax. FYI, it did take about 3 months for the new dash to arrive,
  20. NMax is more expensive as it has disc brakes front and rear. Nmax is also better for taller riders as has more leg room. Aerox is more sporty looking, less expensive, and importantly, for me at least, has bigger wheels.
  21. Thanks for all the replies. As suggested, I'll change to a local Chonburi plate first. Don't mind spending a few quid on agent fees if it saves all the hassle of going to the LTO.
  22. Thank you for the reply. Yes, please let me know the agent you used to transfer the registration to Chonburi. FYI, I am in Pattaya.
