But in a country where entrance to universities are based on different scores for southern and northern states, a northerner would be accepted with 180 score where a southerner with 200 would not be. A policy of bringing along the educationally disadvantaged states to catch up.
At independence, southerners made up the bulk of the civil service and were meant to answer to not so bright turbaned fellows. There is no question of the south being more educated, well, except you include the almajiris, that can recite the koran.
And I also know the difference between Hausa and Fulani, and also the Tivs' who stopped them from reaching the south.
What you said about cutting corners to massively finance the bribery of the entire goverment arms could nt be right either. Dick Chenny just got out of a lawsuit with $35M for haliburton's corner cutting.

The ones I see are kind of exposed and look unsafe, things that can be robbed blind by guys on motocyles.
The market hotel is safe and they can provide tranportation to the border if you need it, also great food the price ranges from 500bt down..........
How do I find this good place, lets say, at the 5km marker where a left turn leads to the market?

It happened to an ex Boss of mine several years ago in Nigeria, the meet and greet guy had the Company logo and his name on a board, drove him out to the bush and robbed him of all his possessions, left him in his underclothes. They found the original meet and greet guy tied up at the back of the Lagos airport.
The original driver is in on the deal, if you had just taken him down to 'Panti', he would have told you how his friend cajoled him into the conspiracy.
You know sometimes in Nigeria, bank robbers and bank managers dispute on the actual amount that is stolen.
I tend to believe the robbers as they are not liars, but bankers?
It has always been proven that as soon as the robbers leave with their loot, the bankers move some of the stash left behind before the cops arrive to record the scene.
There was a story once, of Bank robbers returning to demand for the rest of what was reported stolen. They actually do count their take.
