  1. Those guys from NZ should have said the same thing!!
  2. Would be interested to know the whole story.. I have a hard time believing they would act like this out of the blue
  3. What if it turns out he's got a Veterinarian background and was checking the health of the horse. This mob moves too quick around here.
  4. what was that phrase? good in, bad out
  5. Some Tom's will even take on the father figure roll, providing house, money, etc for a single mom. I do agree with some other posts, they can be angry and edgy, give their Dee a looking over and watch the Tom's face :D
  6. Build a Sphere and they will come. The Thai audience loves music, but not a lot of foreign music. Look at The Sphere, U2 next up The Dead and then Phish. I see lots of people in Thai dyes and even with Dead shirts on but they have no idea what a jam band is. Pearl Jam going on tour, hitting Australia .. wish they were coming here. I think the Foo Fighters could sell out. Still think the craziest scene would be a Dead or Phish show in Bangkok lol bunch of heads lost on Sukhumvit lol
  7. Unfortunately, I don't feel safe flying Thai at the moment. If they can turn things around, I will be happy to fly them again. FAA certification would be a good start.
  8. Was 100% committed to Thai for many years starting back in 2005. After they lost FAA certification and were no longer allowed to land at American airports, I felt unsure of their safety. Further, flight after flight the condition of the planes degraded with broken screens, seats, all around visual lack of maintenance. If they don’t maintain the interior of the plane, how do you think they are doing with the engines? And now, all those planes sitting in the heat since covid? No thanks.. It’s sad.. Thailand is one of the most visited countries in the world and Thai airways could be shuttling people in all day long.. Hoping United opens direct flights one day, they are aggressively expanding into the Asian market.
  9. After 17 years in Thailand, there are so many things I don’t feel safe doing… including walking on most sidewalks in Bangkok. This thread is worthless… safety won’t’ change, it is asking too much, can’t change the culture of taking short cuts in life, even when that risks your life or those around you
  10. So glad to hear they escaped, these buses.. large and small.. on fire, in a ditch, head on collisions, etc. So dangerous
  11. Should have taught this kids to stay off motorbikes ...especially in Thailand. Too many foreigner's don't take the dangers of Thailand seriously, just go to the airport anyway and you will see them in wheelchairs, with bandages up their legs, etc. Drive through Thong Lor area in BKK and watch expats walk side by side on small soi's.. It's all their senses go out the window when they are here.
  12. Unfortunately ....... and half baked...blah blah blah ... ... etc... blah blah blah ... would last all but a day against... blah blah blah without the support of you know who etc.
  13. Speeding pickup in a reoccurring theme driving in TH for the last 17 years. Tailgating, overloaded, zig zagging thru traffic, speeding with no regard for human life...
  14. As soon as they change the law, it will all go under ground. Weed will be easier to get than beer, and the illegal business will flourish - with no tax money for the gov
  15. Hopefully this isn't the last we have seen on this young man, Thailand can only benefit from his potential
  16. 2 speeds .. lethargic and hysterical Surprised they aren't accused on taking the evil weed, but if they were stoned, they would have laughed instead of fought
  17. iTV went out of business in 2007, he has shares in a defunct business. It's the most desperate of moves against him. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITV_(Thailand)
