Italian passport. They mentioned Kuala Lumpur but would prefer Cambodia. Seems they do it there too. -
Non immigrant type F category

Thank you for that. I have finally managed to speak to someone in the Thai embassy in Cambodia. Apparently they do the F category. It takes 5 days and USD 80. I will give it a try. -
Non immigrant type F category
thetravelbee posted a topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Hi everyone, does anyone know if I can apply for a non immigrant type visa F (diplomatic) from Phom Penh ? I will soon receive the MFA authorisation and need to pick one embassy to apply to in one of Thailand neighboring countries. Was thinking Cambodia. No info provided on their website????. Or any other websites for that matter. Is there a better place to apply nearby Thailand? -
‘Tourism fee’, now for all travellers to Thailand, ready to launch

I said what I said and absolutely maintain it. Oh! I forgot to mention the double pricing. I am not a "sir" nor am I a tourist and i am definitely not taking any body hygiene instructions from strangers. -
‘Tourism fee’, now for all travellers to Thailand, ready to launch

Thai authorities are imposing a double taxation for entering Thailand to all "non-thais". Forced to get insurance and then forced to pay an additional flat THB 300 amount for "insurance". This is way beyond discrimination, it's pure theft! What a scam this is! And by the way, not all foreigners are tourists. Such a shame! -
French Tourist Killed While Crossing Road
thetravelbee replied to webfact's topic in Central Thailand
And finally back to the tragic stories of increasing foreigners and locals killed in avoidable road accidents. One of the few positive side effects of the global covid 19 neurosis has been to put this to rest for a while. RIP young Camille. -
Tourists should pay more? Not really convinced of the rationale of that statement. Also and more importantly, not because you ain't thai means you are a tourist. The thai really seem to struggle to come to terms with that notion. It's quite simple though. Let's try once again: IT IS NOT BECAUSE I AM NOT THAI THAT I AM NECESSARILY A TOURIST. Any form of discrimination (positive or negative that is) based on race or ethnicity is despicable!

Well, I am not at all for beaking rules. Unfortunaly for me I am just a little too old for such juvenile behavour. So, I figured that If I want to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer orelse I can buy it and consume it with my husband in my very gorgeous hotel room with view over the laguna and sea. I think some people just live to complain even when it seems not so appropriate. I take Phuket any time with or without alcohol over being stuck in an Hotel room for 15 days in BKK. Sometimes it's worth seing the bottle half full than half empty. Enjoy life people, while you still can!

We've been in Phuket about 10 days. Very beautiful, relaxing. All facilities are opened in hotel, pool gym etc.. depending where you're staying in the island but at the Laguna most places are opened. Pubs and restos shops massage parlors etc... It is extremely enjoyable to experience the island without the hordes of tourists. Not sure what everyone is complaining about. However true that most major tourist attractions are closed. We can live with that!
