Late coming back to this topic. Made appt at CW in person, next one worked online. Go figure. Yes, wait a few days but it's always a gamble not to get caught out & spend a whole day in queue, CW traffic & so on. However, I have read elsewhere that the FIRST 90-day report after a new extension has to be made either in person or by mail. Anyone had such experience? Would be way easier to just continue clicking the magnifying glass! Thanks for your help.

Right, I guess. Good to know the arrival card number is unimportant. The problem seems to be my port of entry. My application was 'pending' for two weeks so I had to go on the last day to avoid the fine. Thanks, Jack. I used the magnifying glass method & change the date of expiry. But nowhere to enter port of entry so it does not appear on completed PDF. Any ideas, please?

Online reporting worked great through 2022. But after my latest retirement extension, the online system failed for me. When I submit my report online, the PDF generated on submission left several crucial items blank such as the tick-box for “NON-IMM”, port of entry (“BY”), and “ARRIVAL CARD NO.” Nothing has changed for me and all other information is correct. This means a whole day, at considerable expense, to get to Chaeng Wattana, and wait in the endless queue if one is not lucky enough to secure one of only 14 five-minute appointments in one’s allotted 10-day reporting window. The IO at this desk obviously did not ‘update’ my data in the online system. Surely there must be a way to correct one’s data!?! Anybody know? Ubonjoe? Thanks in advance! (Takes me awhile to get back to TV these days...)

How to Buy Revia/Naltrexone in Thailand
unblocktheplanet replied to Rulesandways's topic in I Drink Too Much Forum
No Naltrexone in Thailand. Here they use Naloxone for overdoses. Not the same. LDN for a year did not work for me: Hashimoto's / adrenals. -
Where & doc's name, please.

Covid Count Reaches Around 2,800-3,889 A Day In Thailand
unblocktheplanet replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
We're all sooo bored of boosters. And do we now have to pay for vax? If it's free, there may be takers. If it costs, those numbers will go up. Covid isn't finished with us yet. -
Good luck to this couple. Old age may not be what we're expecting.

Queue to renew "retirement visa"

And a lot of appts are very early or very late in day. Wouldn't want to be stuck in CW traffic at either time! -
Certificate of Residence at CW

They expire?!? If there's an expiry date, how much scrutiny do driving licence offices give these? IOW, is there some latitude? -
Certificate of Residence at CW
unblocktheplanet replied to tjintx's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thanks, Jack for your usual thoroughness. Funny they should focus on 90-day reports, considering those are computerised. Guess they're after the money. Is a Certificate of Residence useful to have? (I bet Canada charges B3,000 & two visits with the new appt queue system.) I'll need to renew my driver's licence in over a year. Will they want one? TIA! -

But not necessary for retirement visa extension, correct? Can use yellow book? -

Is a Certificate of Residence able to be substituted with a foreigner tabien ban (yellow book)? -
Retirement visa docs required
unblocktheplanet replied to unblocktheplanet's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Just called 1178. Yeah, I know their info is <sometimes> not accurate. However, the IO told me that only photo, entry & current extension page copies are required NOT all passport pages. Fingers crossed! -
Retirement visa docs required
unblocktheplanet replied to unblocktheplanet's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Sorry! - Chaeng Wattana. -
I should know this but... For annual retirement extension are these acceptable? 1) Wife's ID card & tabien ban, plus my yellow tabien ban to prove residence? (I've never done a TM.30, same house for 30 years.) 2) Copy of EVERY passport page necessary or just photo, entry & current extension? Sorry. I get nervous about the goalposts every year! I could not find a complete list of required documents for retirement here on TV. Thank you!
