The talk in my village is of restricting the purchase of chemicals to those who have undertaken a government course in how to use them. Simply means you need a bit of paper from the Ampur office saying you can buy it. Not a bad idea as the chemicals they talk about are herbicides not pesticides and don't show up in the food chain and nor do they contaminate the soil. In fact used properly they are harmless.
There's been a lot of nonsense talked by emotional people on this subject but it is important to understand a lot of peoples livelyhoods are at stake and for no good reason.
