  1. ..................(quote)......ASEAN countries, which include Japan, China, South Korea, India, New Zealand and Australia, would be invited to participate (unquote).........

The countries quoted are NOT ASEAN countries............ASEAN as in belonging to the ASEAN community.........but go ahead with your festival anyway.......

    6 to 10 million visitors...!!!.....absolute BS

  2. I recall TAT had already targeted India...months ago...something to do with Indian weddings being held in Thailand and the huge amount of money spent on the weddings by the Indian folk.....TAT amnesia setting in?........or has the TAT dept lost it's piece of paper......listing "Previous Promoshuns"

As an aside...why would an Indian couple haul their family/friends entourage to Thailand to get married anyway...??

  3. ...actually Gov.... only being allowed completely naked into the towns and cities in the deep south would totally solve the problem....no more strapped on suicide bombers......no grenades in pockets...pen guns...no more knives...zilch concealed weapons.....

......now I must send this suggestion to TAT it could boost tourist numbers considerably...they have been devoid of ideas for the past 2 hours...

  4. Meanwhile....as the KFC wrapper....floats gently off down the beach having been picked up by a slight zephyr of a wind.....the raw untreated Phuket sewerage and open drains pour there muck into the open sea.....the sea the Thais want registered as a world heritage site....or marine reserve...I cannot remember...

This snack food only farce...and no smoking bs.....(let alone the umbrella/chairs fiasco)....has just made Thailand the worlds number 1 Hub in a new chapter of "Ripleys believe it or not"

Number 1 Hub for Adultery...now number 1 for this Phuket fiasco

Congratulations Thailand...2 number 1's in one week

  5. ...an arrest warrant for an as (yet) unidentified person....mmmm....amazing Thailand......cheesy.gif ...the RTP Corporation hasn't a bloody clue who these men are........and (quote)...a time frame for detaining the suspects has not been set so that the investigators don't come under too much pressure"

So the current scenario is..........there is a warrant out for three "suspects".....but we haven't identified them yet facepalm.gif ...and we are not wanting to place ourselves under too much pressure in doing so coffee1.gif

  6. A mental connection has just clicked. These trains will be slower than proposed by Yingluk, who is not allowed to leave the country. They need her to upgrade the lunch boxes!

They won't require lunch boxes....these trains will be so fast between destinations...there simply won't be enough time to eat lunch

  7. Don't want China to construct or provide materials, system maintenance (read...Thailand wants to apply their famous "shortcuts" to the construction work so that the "saving" can be placed into selected "troughs")

Want China to reduce the interest % (read.....at the moment it is x%...so China reduces it to y%....Thai Govt tells the thai people that they have successfully negotiated a reduced interest rate from the Chinese of y%....when in fact it is y.5%....... .5% then gets put into the "trough"

    result....happiness

  8. ........Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Don Pramudwinai said the government had been tackling human trafficking during the past six months by revising relevant legislations and conducting the TIP Report. A new law on labor protection in the fishery sector was passed on 30 December 2014 and the Prevention and Suppression of Human Trafficking Act was enforced with an emphasis on protection of informers and officers.

The National Legislative Assembly (NLA) recently approved revisions to a law on fishery labor protection. The law sets maximum fine of 30 million baht for offenders.

As for registration of illegal migrants, the deputy minister said the government would finish identifying their citizenship by 31 March this year. The registration is hoped to help reduce human trafficking risks in the country...........

Passing news laws doesn't mean a damn thing in Thailand....if BS was dynamite this minister would have blown this place apart...put your phones down and do some real work......get off your <deleted>..and get out "in the field".....check every single fishing boat.......brothel........factory.......nail/fine and jail the captains...mamasans...factory owners if you locate just one trafficked person......

    How hard is it...???

  9. Quote from an engineers report on double decker buses in Thailand......

It’s well known that most double-decker buses currently in service on Thailand’s roads were probably built from used chassis in substandard garages in Ratchaburi’s Ban Pong district. Many of the used chassis come from vehicles that have just had an accident and without having any kind of formal inspection by an engineer.
