  1. I don't believe for a second that there are 3 more witnesses,

    What I do believe is,

there should have been blood on that phone

there should have been blood in their shower stalls

there should have been blood on a hand rail on a staircase by their apt.

where did these alleged rape-killers clean up?

and......something I simply cannot believe is why....(if the two lads did in fact commit this horrendous crime)...did they not hightail it off the island?

I mean......anybody with a quarter of a brain would realise that the police would be piling onto the island to investigate this crime........and as reported in the media when the police did arrive they also "found" over 6000 illegal workers...

So the heat was definitely going to go on.....on 2 fronts...

  2. More like, he informed other prisoners that if they kill these two they may get let out of prison early and/or get a little reward money. But they tell the other prisoners to make sure it looks like a suicide. Hang them or something.

Agreed........absolutely.........wait for the "suicide" announcement from the RTP ............I give it four days from now........(by Monday 13th midnight)

  3. This is a tough one to nail....

    1. On the one hand doing the right thing and giving notice of your intention to leave (resign earlier than your contract states).....is the preferred way of handling this and is the "professional way"

    a. Unfortunately your employers will see this as a way of slashing into your final months salary.........leaving you with almost zilch. Believe me it happens...they will come up with a thousand reasons for deducting this and that.

    b. The "professional way"...mmmm!!!.......are you considered to be and treated as a "professional" at your school...or an entertainer?

Is the school you are working at "professional" in everything it does and in the way it conducts itself?

(If you answer No....to any question in b. go immediately to 2. below)....if you answer "Yes" to both questions then 1. is the correct procedure but the consequences are in a.

    2. On the other hand...waiting until you are paid your months salary...and then simply walking away 1 or 2 days after receiving your salary.....creates a clean cut.

    a. Up to you whether you verbally inform the school on the way out the door...or leave a note on the directors desk.

    b. They will have forgotten about you in 20 minutes...both students and staff (fact)

    c. If you opt for 2. get down to your bank asap and withdraw all of your money....less 1000b to keep your a/c valid.

I know of some schools/agencies who have tried/succeeded in having a teachers salary reversed out of his/her a/c.

As far as you being reported to immigration etc etc for "breaking" your contract etc etc.......this is BS.

On the other hand if you do have a work permit then I have read somewhere on TV that this would need to be cancelled.......

I am no expert on anything.........seek other advice/help.....but this is my 10 bahts worth for what it is worth.

    Good luck

  4. ....and how much did said "illegals" pay dear retired policeman for the journey....no mention of it (and there always is when illegals cross into Thailand)....oh hang on.....TIT...dear retired handed the dosh over to the arresting officers...and was bid a happy goodbye...then back home to the wife for a cup of well earned char

  5. Here we go....."fitting them up"....beat the living <deleted> out of them until they confess (another word for RTP torture)...this investigation is an absolute disgrace...shocking......switching every 2 hours to different "suspects".....changing every 1 hour to statements like.... "we are close to making an arrest"

So what's happened to the 1 prime suspect in the CCTV footage wearing those shorts....has he morphed into 3 people now.........

  6. I hope they don't capture and jail the wrong person due to their desperation to solve the case.

Unfortunateley that is very easy to do it in every country.....Just think.....Any new convict for murder will confess another one or more crimes in exchange for good money to his family....Probably at this time the Police is looking for that "candidate" more than the real killer....because this guy on video is not on the island anymore....and the Police is lost. No clues. No suspects. And a lot of pressure.

    Well said "Stickyrice2000"...

Here is my own take on how this is going to end.....

    1. A week or two back the ex headmans family offered 1 million baht if anyone could prove them guilty....no-one has.

    2. So we will assume the 1 mil has been handed over to the police......well let's just "assume" it has

    3. The police will now "fit" someone up for this crime in exchange for (say) paying him/her 500,000b

    4. Once "fitted" and all the finger pointing pictures have been snapped by the media....everyone will breath a sigh of relief and the horrible shocking event will then disappear to page 3 or 4 in the media

    5. Meanwhile "fitted up" person will appear in court (story comes back to page 1 in the media for a day purely for "show" - )......brown envelopes will be exchanged (from the remaining 500.000)....and said "fitted up" person will quietly resume where his life left off previous to his "arrest"

  7. As well as teaching P and M grade students at my school....6 x 50 minute lessons per week are set aside for me to "teach the (Thai) teachers"

This involves teaching English grammar - vocab etc etc. The majority of these Thai teachers have Masters Degrees in English from (cannot name) Thai Universities - yet they struggle to string a simple sentence together.

When I was asked by the Director of the school as to what progress they were making I commented that he would be better off employing bar girls as their spoken English is far superior to that of his Thai teachers.

I got a long hard stare in amongst a 30 second silence from him...followed by a "I know what you are saying and agree" grin.

The Universities here are churning out graduates by the thousand....apart from the fact that there are not enough jobs to go around or won't be in the near future.......dare I mention a well covered topic and that is....Thailand and it's education system urgently needs to rid itself of the "No Fail" policy.

This would overnight reduce the number of graduates from the Universities.

On a seperate but related matter.....the final examinations have been completed at my school and the exam marking is underway. This involves us foreign teachers keying the results directly into the schools computer system.

The students are marked out of 10 for 5 seperate English examinations...spelling...fluency etc etc i.e a mark of 5 out of 10 is 50%

The schools computer system has been pre-programmed by the owners of the school to not accept any input of less than 5...!!!!.....and there it is in a nutshell.

Little Somchai in M6 who stuffs around all year, does not participate in any activities, refuses to do homework...blah blah blah.....passes....and proceeds through the Thai education system...and probably leaves University with a degree some years down the track

    rant over
