  1. Hi

kudos on the update app. Couple questions..can I edit my profile from within the app? Tried but couldn't find anything to for instance add a profile pic or specify gender etc.

Also I'm using the dark theme, it seems glitchy and refreshes slowly or the type disappears altogether until I swipe or something. Thx!

  2. Thx Dan..

1 last thing..I'm seeing an address near lumpini and ramkunpang 39(spelling) which is current? Thx

Hvae a look at e-visas as well.  $28 but saves a lot of hassle.

Be aware which border points accept e-visa entries.

yes thx I just looked actually but the processing time is 3 days according to that site. I planning on crossing near soi Dao.

  3. I'm in a similar situation as the OP.

    I'm Canadian.

All I need is a 15day stamp as my Thai 60day visa and its 30day extension are expiring at the end of the month. I changed my flight and I need 10 days.

I was considering taking a minibus to the Soi Dao area and walking out of Thailand and walking back in and get my stamp.

    A couple questions...

Do I actually need a Cambodian visa, can I just get a Cambodian stamp? I heard a Cambodian visa cost either $20US or 1000thb. Which is true for the border idea? I know about the 2000baht run from Ekkamai but I might like to hangout in Soi Dao for a day or two.

    I'm trying to save money.

    Comments tips suggestions welcome.

    Thx

  4. A friend lost all (about 100) his beautiful fish when a blackout occurred and the oxygen pump stopped working. I'm looking for a backup power supply similar to a PC uninterruptible power supply. Of course it doesn't need to be as powerfull as it is only running a small pump. Suggestions to where I can find in Bangkok gratefully accepted and appreciated. I'm in Saphan Khwai area.

  5. Yes these dispersant's are only viable in specific circumstances. Their use should be confined to approval by an expert in spill control, after all the relevant facts have been analyzed. Likely someone with little expertise just gave an order to use the chemicals so it appeared at least something was being done. Same situation in Gulf of Mexico. Panic containment makes for good media, idiotic implementation. I fear white beaches is all the governments is concerned about for tourism, while under the waters toxins abound, out of sight and out of mind. Typical #greenwash.

  6. I'm totally anti drug. As others have suggested recognizing the root issue is key. That said traditional Thai massage is a fantastic way to calm yourself, ease tension,s and relax the body. The human tactile interaction is very therapeutic Find a nice quiet shop with a soothing atmosphere and a calm humble practioner, book for a couple Hrs a few times a week.

I would recommend this in addition to a psycho therapeutic evaluation of course.

Good luck and thanks for being a caring friend.

  7. Most every app I use is auto updated.

I had the latest version. Anyway

I uninstalled and reinstalled. Restored my data with titanium backup.

Clicked a link in the newsletter email. Same scenario. Here's a screen from the open in app dialogue I see. Clicking "install' takes me to the play store (don't know why this button seems highlighted when the app is installed already) and the 'open in app button' seems to be faded. See screenshot. Clicking that gives the same error as previous screenshot.
