As for where you can drive to, you are usually limited to the number of kilometers per day or you pay extra and get unlimited kilometers. You can drive interstate if you want however if you are driving of road you will need to get a suitable car. You will also pay extra if you do not return car to original point of hire. At present i am driving a Toyota Rav4 rented through Avis, company provided, unlimited kilometers but limited to driving on bitumen(Tarmac). There are other options available as their are companies that organize one way trips for people, for example you will pick up a camper van and you will be required to drive it from one point to another, they will usually give a fuel allowance and you do not pay for the van, you just have to move it from point A to point B within the timeframe give. You just have to get lucky and get a transport option that suits your plans. Trips from Places like Darwin to Perth are quite common.

Sir you will find that the Mandatory Third party insurance will be automatically added to your rental agreement, however this only covers costs associated with a person. So if a person is involved in an accident with your vehicle , and you are found to be at fault. the insurance will cover their costs. You will also be presented with various "Comprehensive " insurance options that will cover different types of damage if you have an accident, these will vary in price and exactly what they cover. and you will be offered different rates depending on the Excess amount you will pay if there is an accident. Also in Australia , you will be liable for the excess even if you are not deemed at fault. I have been renting vehicles for many years for work purposes and I have found the big players, AV!s, Hurtz etc. although they are expensive, they offer the best service. It is depending on your use of the car as well., are you going to be driving around in a major city or are you going to be travelling the barren wasteland's that make up the rest of that place? Thyird party insurance is not negotiable in Australia.

You would never. That's your opinion, weather we like to listen to it is completely up to us. I personally have done over 20 000 kilometers on a " big Bike" in Thailand and so far have survived with no problems. i thoroughly enjoy riding in Thailand and wont stop until age makes me.

I did same about 15 years ago, i used a company called "GRACE" removalists from Brisbane https://www.grace.com.au/brisbane-removalists/ most use useful thing i brought was a full size Weber BBQ, they are crazy expensive in Thailand. Just make sure that the removalist does door to door because if you allow a local agent to be appointed the locals can gouge you on costs.

Me wife and i believe that the beef industry contributes to global warming by the amount of methane the cows produce. We are firmly against the beef industry so we do our best to kill and eat as many cows as we can, piece by tasty piece. Also we only eat Vegan beef, the cows must only be raised on plants and therefore are plant based. so i guess we are environmentally aware vegans.

My Boy is a teacher and after he finished Uni, it took a few years before he cracked it and scored a very sought after government teaching job. One of the problems is that they do not mandate the age as to when a teacher should retire. So the system is full of old relics lapping up the dollars and doing bugger all. Now he has to return to Uni and do a masters to get ahead. and a Thai masters degree is about as useful as a chocolate teacup.

I HAVE BEEN WEARING HEARING AIDS FOR THE LAST couple of years, this causes both a fungal growth in my ears and the compounded wax problem, i have learnt to clean my ears with peroxide every three months or so. the amount of crap that comes out of my ears is incredible. i thoroughly recommend on getting a doc to teach you how to clean your was with peroxide. it is well worth it.

Basically the same for me, i also gave up smoking and had the roof of my mouth layered to tighten my palette, this has worked until recently as i have started snoring and stopping breathing again. maybe the wife is sitting on my face whilst i am asleep ? this will need further investigation.

this has got me thinking, i recently exported a bike from Thailand to Australia where it ie registered and is my daily ride, i wonder if i will be able to re-import it back to Thailand. I still have original green book from when it was registered in Thailand.

I have been stopped at the airport leaving Australia as i did not have a return ticket by V%^#*n Airlines. When i argued the point and showed a Thai Drivers licence, yellow house book and pink Thai id card they eventually let me on. However the two chaps i was travelling with had to buy a return ticket before they were allowed on the flight, we simply bought a one way, return leg with another airline, that satisfied the overly officous ground crew in Perth. i used to fly Thai airways and was never questioned about a return flight, however they no longer service Perth. i think it depends upon the airline and i have only had issues at departure airport, i have flown in heaps of times, 3rd passport, and i have never been questioned at immigration at the Thai end.
