  1. A high number of troll exchanges were removed. No one wants to read 3 guys bickering and trying to score points on each other.
  2. The General meaning where humans are concerned refers to "ashamed and embarrassed." because of the failure. With dogs its usually attaches the fear element as they literally run away in fear, etc. So, its understandable that having gone "all in" for some, whether it be business relationship or anything else, losing the money and ending up with nothing and having to "go home" would undoubtedly cause embarrassment and shame for many. I have personally known a guy lose the lot via a relationship, the likes of which we have all heard many many times. Fleeced and dumped! Business?(bar) no not known personally, but like many, I've heard and read of this on this board over the years.
  3. The Electric is high, standard is around 4.6bah. With the hottest time of the year here that bill will sting. Not unheard of for some Landlords to offer a lower price for a unit and sting them on the electric. Water I believe is a cubic meter, mine is 5 baht. Common areas generally refer to walkways gardens communal seating area etc. Charge for the pool at 50bt is not unreasonable, although many include it. Seems this place is all about the "extras".
  4. Just the system playing "catch up" at certain peak times of users. The wheel spinning giving the impression its not done, close and reload and it is in fact done. This issue along with others will be addressed in the very near future, as scheduled facilities improve.
  5. An entire section of posts trolling and the responses has been removed along with the antagonist.
  6. If you can't remember, and I think it's a deliberate move by them to slow down applications etc, you have to write to HMRC for your record of who what and when. Takes weeks for them to respond. Why they want you to tell them, when they have the record in front them is crazy.Who can rattle off every employers start and finish date etc is absurd in my opinion. I wrote an email requesting clarification on some points 3 weeks ago and still no response.
  7. It was late February 2022 when Tite revealed he would be stepping down as Brazil head coach at the end of the Qatar World Cup. That, in theory, gave the Brazilian FA (CBF) plenty of time to work on his replacement. As it turned out, though, it wasn't enough. Since then, the Selecao have had two caretaker managers - Ramon Menezes and Fernando Diniz - and another manager they assumed had been hired and publicly announced it but wasn't - Carlo Ancelotti. Only now, when they take on England this Saturday at Wembley, will Brazil finally have in Dorival Jr a permanent manager in charge, putting an end to what was largely perceived back home as "a lost year". "That was the result of much disorganisation and also some arrogance to believe that any coach would just come running [to take the job] because it's the Brazilian national team," former Brazil international Walter Casagrande, now a popular football pundit, told BBC Sport. In 2023, the Selecao finished a year with more defeats than wins for the first time since 1963 - in total, they lost five times, drew once and won just three times in nine games, breaking several negative records along the way, including losing a home World Cup qualifier - versus Argentina - and three consecutive qualifiers - versus Colombia, Uruguay and Argentina - for the first time. In six qualifying matches, they have conceded more goals (seven) than in the entire previous campaign (five in 17 games). Overall, the Brazilians managed to beat only Guinea, Bolivia and Peru, so it's no surprise the team's confidence before the game with England is at its lowest level since the 7-1 thrashing by Germany in 2014. With a new era starting in London, the five-time world champions will be hoping to move on from arguably one of their worst years in recent history. FULL REPORT

  9. United Rugby Championship: Glasgow Warriors v Cardiff Glasgow Warriors: (0) 17 Tries: Williamson, Sordoni; Pen: Weir; Cons: Weir (2) Cardiff: (13) 13 Try: Thomas; Pens: De Beer (2); Con: De Beer Glasgow Warriors rallied from 13-0 down at half-time to secure victory over Cardiff and move up to second in the United Rugby Championship table. A converted Ben Thomas try and two penalties from Tinus de Beer put the Welsh side in a strong position. Max Williamson and Lucio Sordoni crossed early in the second half as the hosts turned the tide, with Duncan Weir kicking the rest of Glasgow's points. Warriors move a point behind leaders Leinster, while Cardiff remain 12th. Reaction & as it happened All the latest Scottish rugby news Latest URC standings A foul evening in Glasgow made life difficult for both teams early on but the home side had the worst of it, playing into a strong wind that made it hard to break out of their own territory. De Beer booted Cardiff into an early lead and while they had to withstand a short period of pressure on their own line, Warriors' inability to deal with the conditions meant the Welsh side were comfortable in defence for the most part. De Beer banged over another penalty to put the visitors 6-0 in front and they really should have burnished their advantage with a try, but two or three goes at the Glasgow line were repelled by stout defending. The reprieve was only temporary. A great burst from Thomas Young cut through the Glasgow defence and some brilliant offloading set-up Thomas to go over. Glasgow came roaring out the blocks after the break. Kyle Steyn made good inroads before Williamson surged to the line with tremendous power to give Franco Smith's men a much-needed foothold with his first try for the club. FULL REPORT
  10. Real Madrid are stepping up their interest in Liverpool and England right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, with the 25-year-old's contract at Anfield expiring next year. (Relevo - in Spanish) Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso will join Bayern Munich rather than Liverpool if he moves anywhere this summer. (Sky Sports News) Chelsea are in advanced talks with Lyon about appointing Sonia Bompastor, the 43-year-old former France midfielder, to take over from Emma Hayes at the WSL side. (ESPN) Chelsea led the race for Brazil forward Endrick but concerns about the fee allowed Real Madrid to beat them to the signing of the 17-year-old from Palmeiras. (Telegraph - subscription required) Manchester United are ready to firm up their interest in 27-year-old Brazil defender Gleison Bremer, who has a £43m release clause in his Juventus contract. (Mirror) Aston Villa could be forced to sell English midfielder Jacob Ramsey, 22, to help avoid breaching profit and sustainability rules. (Football Insider) Manchester United minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe wants to change the role of the manager at the club, so it is more of a head coach position primarily focused on training. (Telegraph - subscription required) But current manager Erik ten Hag could leave Manchester United if he is not prepared for a change to his role, which would mean his position being diluted. (Star) Newcastle United might have to sell Sweden striker Alexander Isak, 24, in the summer to comply with financial fair play regulations, with long-term admirers Arsenal a possible destination. (Football Insider) Sunderland winger Jack Clarke, 23, will not sign a new contract at the Championship club, which could spark fresh interest in the Englishman from West Ham and Lazio. 11. A group of Liverpool fans have been awarded compensation by Uefa after claiming they were injured or left with psychological trauma in chaotic scenes at the 2022 Champions League final. Uefa were found to bear "primary responsibility" for what almost led to a "mass fatality catastrophe" in Paris. Fans were penned in and sprayed with tear gas outside the Stade de France as kick-off was delayed by 36 minutes. On Friday, Uefa said it had agreed "a full and final settlement" with fans. Eriksson to fulfil Liverpool 'dream' with legends The agreement relates to Liverpool supporters - previous reported as a total of 1,450 claimants - who were represented in a lawsuit by global law company Pogust Goodhead and Liverpool law firm Bingham Long. Both Uefa and the legal teams said the amount of compensation received by the fans would remain confidential. The supporters had "accepted" and "welcomed" the offer, said their legal firms. Liverpool played Real Madrid in May 2022 for the prize of being crowned European champions. Many Reds fans spoke of long queues in the hours leading up to the game, which Liverpool went on to lose 1-0, and a heavy-handed police response to the build-up of supporters unable to enter the Stade de France. Fans were tear-gassed by police, while also being attacked and robbed by local people allowed to congregate nearby. Uefa and French authorities initially blamed ticketless fans for the events. In February 2023, the independent report announced it had found Uefa responsible for "chaotic scenes" which "almost led to disaster". The report drew parallels with the Hillsborough disaster in 1989, when 97 Liverpool supporters died at their side's FA Cup semi-final tie with Nottingham Forest after being crushed because of overcrowding. 12. Scotland's winless run stretched to six games as their wastefulness in front of goal was compounded by a late collapse against the Netherlands in Amsterdam. Steve Clarke's side impressed for long durations against the Dutch, and spurned a succession of glorious chances, but were dealt a harsh lesson in ruthlessness at the elite level. Trailing with 18 minutes left to Tijiani Reijnders' fabulous first-half strike, the Scots then lost three cheap goals in the final stages to flip the narrative from an encouraging evening to a chastening night. Georginio Wijnaldum and Wout Weghorst netted, before Donyell Malen added a fourth for a Dutch side short of their best. Scotland have now conceded 18 goals in six games, with just three friendly matches to play before they face hosts Germany in the opening game of Euro 2024. Shankland's flaws become strengths in role reversal Scotland 'can't keep doing this' after more Dutch misery Podcast: 'I've been here twice and seen Scotland concede 10' Keep up to date with Scotland news from BBC Sport Playing in their new Euros kit, a gallus Scotland looked the part for large spells of the contest. Lawrence Shankland caught the eye on just his second start, as did Ryan Christie in his slightly altered role. The Bournemouth midfielder thumped a header on goal, but Mark Flekken pushed it on to the bar. Cody Gakpo was a threat at the other end. The Liverpool forward was inches away from slipping the offside trap, flung cute crosses into the box, and took a theatrical flop over Scott McTominay in search of a penalty. No card was shown for such dramatics. Just when it seemed Scotland would go in at the break level, Reijnders' rocket changed the script. The visitors were too generous in allowing the AC Milan midfielder to take Gakpo's lay-off and lash beyond Angus Gunn. FULL REPORT
  13. Karl Moore's bid to become Ireland's first Bellator champion ended in heartbreak at the hands of American Corey Anderson in Belfast on Friday. Anderson, 34, cruised to an unanimous points victory to claim Bellator's light-heavyweight title. Moore's chances hinged on a stoppage victory but the local fighter was largely dominated over five rounds. All three judges scored it for Anderson, who ended a near 11-year wait to win a world title in MMA. Anderson joined Bellator in 2020 in search of world honours after six years in the UFC and in Belfast was competing in his second world title fight in the promotion. The Illinois native has often shied away from the spotlight, but thousands of miles away from home he finally grasped the prize he has reached for since he turned pro in 2013. Anderson did it relying on his strengths, wrestling and cardio, relentlessly and methodically crushing the fight out of Moore. Full Report
  14. Second T20, Nelson England 149-7 (20 overs): Knight 56* (40); Mair 2-25, Devine 2-30 New Zealand 134-8 (20 overs): Kerr 44 (36); Bell 2-24, Dean 2-28 England won by 15 runs Scorecard England captain Heather Knight made another half-century as her side beat New Zealand by 15 runs in the second T20 to take a 2-0 series lead. England stumbled to 77-6 after being asked to bat but Knight, who made 56 not out, hauled England up to a competitive 149-7 in Nelson. New Zealand were 100-3 but the wicket of Amelia Kerr (44) started a collapse of five wickets for eight runs. They finished on 134-8 with Lauren Bell the pick of the bowlers with 2-24. All of England's frontline bowlers took a wicket, including left-arm spinner Linsey Smith having Suzie Bates caught at short fine leg with her first ball in international cricket since June 2019. The next game in the five-match series is from 00:00 GMT on Sunday at the same venue. Why Bell put England before £30,000 WPL deal England's batting leaves more questions than answers Coming into this series England probably knew five of their top seven for the T20 World Cup that takes places in Bangladesh from late September. Danni Wyatt, Alice Capsey and Nat Sciver-Brunt - who will switch to this series from the fourth game after their involvement in the Women's Premier League - are set to join Knight and Amy Jones. Three players - Sophia Dunkley, Tammy Beaumont and Maia Bouchier - are fighting for the second opener role and all fell in tame fashion. REPORT
  15. rephrased, which would apply to most, would you stand there and let someone knock you out ! Because that's what it would really amount to. For that money, absolutely! do it for a lot less too.😀
  16. Is it the dogs or your attitude and fear the dogs are picking up on. I simple walking stick raised when required should do the trick, as others have stated you need to be assertive. A water pistol works well too.😀 But mostly it's all about you and how they perceive you, that you need to address.
