I always thought they don't accept cheques and will only accept a Post Office "Postal-order". it was like that last time i did mine there and their office is out in the middle of nowhere.
It could be they sent your docs back to you by post unprocessed!
I would be interested to see the outcome of this, perhaps Thai Visa can follow up for you? as this sort of thing is their core business, isn't it?

No licence needed for DVD rental but there is no longer a lot of demand for this business. Dealing in pirated product could attract unwelcome attention from the police.
"No licence needed for DVD rental"
Not correct, one needs a license, its expensive, and other medias mainly the internet has made this business obsolete.

she will need to register with the licensing authorities, then she will need to get licenses for all movies she plans to rent out.
It is illegal to rent or sell bootleg DVD or any other illegally copied intellectual property.
The police will confiscate the contents of her shop and she will be arrested fined and or imprisoned.
Is it worth the trouble? why does she not just open a noodle restaurant or something?

The red demons(trators) have been infesting some parts of Pattaya recently, and scaring off the tourists who just happen to be the bread and butter (sorry rice and fish sauce) income of Thailand

Yingluck was quoted (translated) "Would you nice people kindly not occupy our government building please please, you know we have urgent business to discuss here, regarding getting new executive SL500 motorcars for my friends and I want my daddy -sob sob- and worst of all my coffee is getting cold, don't you hate that when it happens?
This is true... go ask her if you don't believe me.

It's about time tourists woke up to realize Thailand is nothing but a scam country. Thailand does not care about their own people so why would they care about tourists? Oh yeah...the tourist dollar. Idiot government officials!
Would strongly sugest you get out side the tourist areas.
the same can be said of many countries if all you do is hang around tourist areas,
You are incorrect, its everywhere, especially in remote villages. I have been in Thailand for 30 years and in my own experience when a Farang drives or wanders (or is taken) into a typical Thai village the locals eyes pop they all are suddenly grinning like Cheshire cats shouting rudely "FALANG, FALANG" and the cheating begins, they have no pride or honor just selfish greed. (sorry to smash your rose tinted views)
"And for all you people who say I should get out of Thailand & go home, I personally say to you - Piss Off, I like it here despite the short falls.

The artical said he has settled out of court and has agreed not to use a round logo.

Sent from my D90W using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
You mean, apart from a good-looking Thai babe?
You are suggesting sexual feelings towards a Thai BABE ? If you are into Babies you should hand yourself into the nearest police station or get some serious psychological help!

"13-year-old girl in Houston, Texas"
People can marry a 13yo in some southern states in the USA so whats the big deal here? unless its rape (which would need to be proven)

RIP
My aunty died last month she was 96 years old and apparently quite fit. she was sipping some red wine one evening after her supper, and just blacked out and fell off her chair dead. That was it, no illness no drama just gone in a couple of seconds! My uncle who is over 100 years old said its fine, "I am glad she went first"
Wow if you have to go that's the way to do it!
The Pattaya man is lucky in some sort of way really, not having to suffer with illness and getting decrepit slowly.

I have lived in Thailand for 30 years, I always had the air running all night at between 23-24c.
When my family opened a coffee shop downstairs I got a huge electricity bill at the end of the first month.
I went on a save electricity rampage,... fine tuning the temperature of all the fridges and freezers, limiting the air in the coffee shop when really needed (rarely), limited use of the oven (weekend baking only) AND finally sleeping WITHOUT the air in my bedroom !!!!
Since cooling the room with the air then turning it off and sleeping with a FAN ONLY I have felt much more refreshed, no headaches, no sinus blocking problems, no aches and pains in the joints and feel a lot healthier and refreshed generally.
My advice then is:
1) cool the room in the evening whist you watch TV or whatever you do!
2) Buy a nice big fan, big blades that can go down to slow speed is best.
3) Just before you retire aim the fan to suit your preference.
4) TURN OFF THE AIR FOR THE NIGHT !!!
I am surprised I have stayed comfortably cool all night and at times have had to bury myself in the duvet.
My Electricity bill has come way down

At least he dint get the phone! This guy looks like half the male tourists in Thailand so It might be hard for the police who think all farang look the same anyway.
This proves the point that one should NEVER leave anything unattended.
I leave my wife alone all the time. Never had a problem..........sigh.
Try putting her into a bag before you leave her somewhere! You never know you might get lucky.

She's either a midget or that table and chair are set below floor level
Yes... she's the "evil midget"
-
No ... he probably "recorded" it from the security monitor. not "copied" from the file on the system.I'm fairly sure "recorded to phone" should be "copied". English as a foreign language...
Oh yeah, like the pirated movies.
I'll wait for the official release then, hate it when a good movie is spoilt by poor reproduction!
Yes here in Thailand the Thais call them "Zoom"

Problems with Hull Consulate....?
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Posted · Edited by newermonkey
I guess he cant do that because Hull has his Passport ... "duur"
Any way he should not bother coming as the reds are at it again... I am thinking there are better places in the world now, even Cambodia or Vietnam.
