Well, finally got username and password, 3 months to the day. Only reason we got them was my wife called the number on the website and the guy checked his computer, saw approved and gave there and then, 1 minute all done. So if you are waiting long for an email, give them a call. good luck.

Pattaya46.
Just read your other thread, all I can say is yes, you are lucky. Your experience is the opposite of mine. website says my application approved, password will be sent; 11 weeks and counting. Go buy a lottery ticket.????

Yes Dave, that's why I walked out shaking my head. What can you say.

Did TM30 at Jomtien 2 weeks ago, queue for over 1 hour. Asked about user name and password as I had applied online end of May, told by boss upstairs that "not enough user names and passwords, only for hotel and guest house, not single user". Didn't see much point in arguing with that statement. So no it's not just fine.

reply to Tanoshi.
Yes I am aware of that, I applied online end of May, still waiting. I just report my experience when I asked at Jomtien about user name and password. Seems some are getting easily, others not so.

Peterw42.
I applied online at the end of May, still waiting. My point was they will not give to single user.
Many reports of people getting user name and password from their immigration office.

Did a TM30 at Jomtien yesterday, I asked for user name and password. Boss upstairs said not enough user name and password, only give to hotels and guest house. Told them i am in and out of Thailand often; replied just one person you can come down here.

Update.
For anyone interested, Jomtien said cannot get retirement extension with nonB,
must be nonO.
-
Thanks Joe,
That's what I was afraid of.
I'v never worked in Thailand, I work in Cambodia and come to Thailand for about a week every month.
Guess it's a visit to Jomtien then.
Thanks again.
-
Sorry, didn't explain properly, it's a non B visa issued in Phnom Penh.
I'll be on a 90 day entry.
Thanks for the replies.
-
Hi guys, can anyone confirm that I can change Non B to retirement extension at Jomtien immigration.
Thanks
-
Yes agents are still doing single entry visas. I have friends doing it now, waiting for their passports to come back. I was at the Thai embassy myself last month and there were half a dozen agents with stacks of passports. Good luck

Many thanks Joe.
Would that be for 90 days and convert to extension in Thailand ?.
Also, if I need to leave during the 90 days, can I get a re-entry permit.
Thanks again.

you are talking about immigration and you are correct. What i mean is when you check in for your flight, you show the check in desk your passport, they enter the details on the flight manifest, this is then sent to immigration at your destination and must match. The passport you go through immigration with can be different from the one you check in with. Hope this is more clear. I also have 2 passports and this has been my experience.

When you check in for your flight, you must use the passport you intend to use on arrival.
Otherwise it wont match the flight manifest.

Medium Chain Triglyceride. Derived from coconut oil, hence the reference.
It's usually sold in health and fitness stores.
Tried everywhere I can think of in Pattaya, also tried to buy from mutantthailand.com to no avail.
So any other health nuts out there know where to buy?.
Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, as the header says, I'm looking for MCT oil in Pattaya.
I can find coconut oil everywhere but not MCT.
All help appreciated.

You are of course correct JT, they did have more than noodles,
It is not a large place though.
The sign on the door is in Thai and that's all it said
according to my wife.
It didn't' look like there was any work going on,
so who knows.
-
Just went for lunch, closed for renovation.
What is it with these noodle shops???.

Hi guys,
where its marked on the map is accurate, there is an alley at the side with parking behind, the sign is small,
look for the guys in white in the window pulling noodles.
Its about 200 yards before north road on the left as you go north, yes there are many Korean places around
this area.
There is seating for about 40 pax and it is quite busy. They have plenty of staff, not like Pao's, so service is quick.
Good luck.
