  1. Two quick things: this conference should be renamed to sound more like it is intended to PREVENT child exploitation... to something like;

    International Child Exploitation Prevention Conference

and secondly the bar Lolitas Pattaya however unsavory it's reputation might be (which would be saying a LOT for Pattaya) doesn't promote child exploitation.

Its all in the name in case you did not get that !!

  2. Well my bf, the father of my child is Thai but because it took us 8 months to get him a tourist via to come to the Netherlands to be at the birth of our daughter [something that ended with me being in a courtroom 2 days prior to giving birth and finally getting him a emergency visa] and in the end he was 2 days late for birth, he is not on the birth certificate.

So we're trying to get married, living in Thailand as a family but the Dutch embassy needs a whole lot of paperwork, of which all of my bf's needs to be legally translated before I can apply for a certificate to contract marriage at the city hall of my hometown in the Netherlands, a document needed to get legally married here in Thailand.

We havent got to that yet, Im going back to the Netherlands with my daughter next month, hoping to get all the paperwork done so we can get married and get him on the birth certificate, this is the easiest way to do it.

I am looking into getting a marriage visa as well, so that would make things easier, in the meantime I wondered if I could let her overstay until she will have her own thai passport, hopefully later this year.

No fine as mentioned, no negative impact and nothing to worry about by overstaying with a child.

However, when you depart make sure you have the birth certificate with you as they will/may want to see that.

When you go through immigration at airport when leaving, they will send you over to the naughty overstayers desk and it will be signed out and all done in matter of minutes normally....they still need to simply sign and stamp something or they feel unwanted and less unimportant.

  3. I have a son 9yo and he does not and at this moment cannot get a Thai passport due to 'paperwork' issues.

I have a daughter that is 6yo and has a thai passport.

So I know the difference and just saying that all is not black and white and if it was an easy option to get him the thai passport now, I would obviously....it is not an impossibility to do, just saying that it is easier currently for us to wait to do it later on.

So if it is not straightforward for me, I suggest there are others out there with possible similar problems and therefore your 'blanket' comments are not correct.....just being politically correct n all as I am known for being correct.

  4. Maybe so, but the best looking Thai girls are almost always with a Thai guy. You can at least admit that.

Glad you said 'almost'...as this makes your post correct and its a numbers thing....how many Thai's are there in this here there own country ?? You would expect that wouldn't you.

  5. Looks how the rabid anti-Thaksin posters jump on the lies and start to say they are true.

    This is how propaganda works.

A ploy used by the army very well against the communists.

If you throw enough lies around eventually people start to believe some lies as truth.

And those blinded by their emotions believe all lies as its what they want to hear.

Unbelievable how many "told you so" posters crawl out of the woodwork when the lies again start to be spread by the invisible hands under the guise of "source" in an incorrect newspaper report.

Which side are you on....hmmm...let me guess.....must be the side that releases this kind of propaganda themselves to gauge the level of resistance and gently roll out the carpet in preparation.......best letting the masses know a little bit at a time in order to get used to it...then the final result is not such a shock.

  6. My last wife's husband was a heck of a nice guy. He called me up and asked me if he could do anything for me, loan me money or did I need to borrow his truck to move our furniture or any financial help with the wedding expenses. He was serious about it. He offered to counsel me on any eccentricities his ex wife might have to make our marriage go smoother. At the time I was thoroughly impressed with the guy and wondered why my wife had divorced him. She told me her ex was an unhappy man but every time I met him he was extremely cheerful. I eventually figured it out. :annoyed:

Lol.....good post....bet he is still smiling and telling yarns down the pub.

  7. Why oh why do these guys come here and marry a woman who any thai man wouldn't go near in a million years.

What a croc.....open your eyes and look at the thai/thai couples walking around any shopping centre....scrubbers worse than the one in the vid for sure....for sure saraburi has more than its fair share.
