Thai when entering and leaving Thailand.
Any chance on the way back that her Thai passport would be checked for an Australian entry visa?

Daughter is a dual passport holder, Thai and Australian. Both current. She is in Brisbane and would like to visit her (very ill) Grandmother in Thailand.
Her expected stay in Thailand would probably be about 3 weeks. Her itinerary will be BNE - SIN - BKK and BKK - SIN - BNE.
Which passport should she be presenting at each immigration checkpoint?
TIA ????

Many thanks for all of the information / advice.
Booked online with MedConsult which was pretty straight forward.
Quite a few appointments available around the time I needed to get it done (late May)

If flight is in the next days, best bet is to call hospitals, rather than trying online.
Luckily she has 3 weeks to get it sorted out. Thanks for the info.

I have managed to get my daughter a flight out of Thailand to join me here in Australia. Before she travels she requires a COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test.
I am looking for information on a hospital or clinic in Bangkok that can do this test and furnish the results in about 24 hours.
Any information on costs would also be appreciated.

Best to do a google search and add 'thaivisa' to the key words
Thanks dabhand, that did the trick.

There is a comprehensive how to do thread somewhere on here about obtaining a Multi Non O based on marriage.
I have used multiple key words in the search function to no avail.
Has anyone got it saved or can point me in the right direction?

@ blackcab. Thanks for that.
Glad I asked. I forgot about the aggregate total of all currencies.
I do have about 4 million IDR that is going back with me as well.
No problems in this case as still under the $15K USD.

Would I be correct in assuming that carrying $15000 AUD out of Thailand there would be no requirement for the declaration form?
15,000 AUD to USD = 10,644.98 US Dollars
I realize it would have to be declared on arrival in Australia.

I am guessing all of His Majesty's correspondence goes through this office.
Office of His Majesty’s Principal Private Secretary
The Grand Palace, Na Phralan Road,
Bangkok, 10200.Telephone: 02 2255833-43, 02 2253457-67
Fax: 02 2243259"At present, the Office of His Majesty’s Principal Private Secretary is responsible for documents received from government offices, non-government offices, and the general public for submission to His Majesty the King for royal authorisation and decision depending on each case. The Office also conveys royal wishes and commands to parties concerned. It is evident that the Office of His Majesty’s Principal Private Secretary has the role of coordinator between His Majesty the King and the Government, the various offices of the public and private sectors, as well as the general public concerning both the affairs of State and His Majesty’s private affairs."
source .... 1 minute on Google (oops, sorry, I forgot no banter)

Seriously, you had problems reading 8 and a half lines of text?
And expect others to read even more lines when you post!
For some, ALL of the information garnished from these posts could make a difference.
Here is another one you didn't read or skimmed over ......

If you do not state what office you are dealing with specifically then your post is meaningless and irrelevant.

Reference Income for retirement.
Went to my Immigration office today with two lots of "Proof of Income" No Embassy Affidavit or Stat Dec provided.
1. Official Government letters from Australian Military pension and Government Department of Veterans Affairs/age pension.
2. Bank statements from Australian bank showing transfers of funds to Thailand bank account,
Well done DUNROAMING.
I can also show the same "proof of income" as you (dfrdb / comsuper pension + vet affairs part disability service related)
However, at my IO (Buriram) I have already been told that they will only accept fully seasoned money in the bank.
Mind you, that could possibly change getting closer to the end of the year and also depending on which officer you deal with.
True story from last Wednesday at immigration. After being out of the Province for 4 days I went to tell them I was back. My details were updated on the computer. A friend who had been away with me also went later in the morning. He tried to report back in and was told "no need, only if you are away for a long time"????????????

I am now beginning to wonder seriously whether the Immigration Bureau's ultimate objective is to have the seasoned bank balance method be the strict order of the day for proving finances at annual extension of stay time.
Exactly what I was told yesterday whilst doing a 90 day report (Buriram sub office)
And, cut off date for using an Australian Embassy Stat Dec will be the 7th January 2019. Which is the same day the Embassy will stop issuing them.

Whether or not every office plays by the rules is another matter
And that is what I will hopefully find out early next month.
3 hours ago, elviajero said:here are two clauses because you can be married only, a parent only, or both. If you are both you can apply under either clause!
I will report on my interaction with my Immigration office after my next visit.

Depends which immigration office you use.
Buriram for me. No dramas with them for anything thus far.

Food for thought UJ. Thanks.
I have a 90 day report early next month so will have a chat with them then.
It might end up being a moot point if the AUD $ gets out of the doldrums by February next year.

I may go down this "extension - Thai child" road next year.
Currently on "Retirement extensions" although married.
I have a Thai child (12 years old)
I have read the Police Order 327_2557 section 2.18 and 2.19.
I am assuming that I would apply using 2.18. Could someone please confirm that?
Also, is it allowable to apply for this type of extension even though I am married? Or would Immigration try to swing me back to the "Married extension" that I was using prior to turning 50 years old?

Just a heads up for any Aussies requiring either Passport and Notarial Services at the Embassy.
"From the 4th of July 2018, Passport and Notarial Services at the Embassy will require an appointment. Advanced bookings can be made by selecting the ‘Book Appointment Button’"
All the details on their website

Along with the button to press ?
