  1. Hello Simon43, I'm just wondering which way you have proceeded and how things are working out for you? Cheers.
  2. I'm not as knowledgeable as others here on the forum, but if your recalcitrant girl is mostly sativa, aren't sativas designed to grow up to 6 months in Thailand's outside 12 hours of daylight therefore they are not as affected by the shorter hours? Just asking.
  3. How long were the plants in the dark inside the box? Did you need to have any holes for air exchange in the box? Apparently being shipped inside the the plane's baggage area didn't bother them at all, they look real healthy. Thanks for the info.
  4. Just curious, how did you package the cuttings/plants so that they made the journey? And more important, did they survive the flight in the luggage compartment without any bad results? Cheers, Richard
  5. It might appeal to some as it offers a low dose of 5mg and a higher dose of 10mg and states that "you can trust that each high will be like the last". One can't always say that from one joint to the next. Interesting concept.
  6. Hi tomster, add me to your list of people interested in getting a batch of your new sample fertilizer. You seem to know what you're doing and have a bit of experience behind you, so if the lab tests check out to your satisfaction, I'd be willing to buy some from you. This one is for veg only right? And what will you use for flower? Cheers, Richard
  7. Hello Mr Meeseeks, I'm a bit new to this, what does the WT stand for and can it be purchased in Thailand or do you have to purchase it from overseas? Thanks, the plants look healthy. Cheers
  8. I look forward to your test results. Thanks for sharing all this!
  9. Tomster, those are beautiful looking. How many plants are there? You don't need to have them in a tent or with reflective sides? And when you say that there are two 85w full spectrum LEDs on the side walls, do you mean that the LEDs are mounted up inside the parabolic? Thanks for all your great info!
  10. I'm having a problem with seedlings stretching as well. What kind of light are you using above them and how close to their leaves can you get it?
  11. What kind of treatment? I was thinking about trying rockwool when cloning, but I've never used it before. Thanks
  12. BritManToo, How are your plants looking? How old are they now?
  13. BritManToo, now that you've brought the seedlings back inside the tent under grow lights, what is the best distance that you would want the light to the babies? Is there such a thing as too close? You said that the sun was burning them after 10am when you had them outside, can you actually burn them under the lights inside? Thanks for all this great information, it gives me a lot of confidence to start up a grow of my own.
  14. BritManToo, I'm seeing about 5 small white gauges. What are you measuring or keeping track of? Light, Temperature, Humidity, CO2? I can't read the numbers. Thanks
  15. BritManToo, at this stage of the seedlings if you use your LED lights, how close to the seedlings do you bring your lights?
  16. Sorry for being stupid, I know what the photoperiod means, but what does the auto mean?
  17. BritManToo, thanks for an informative article. I have a question about the seed. Back many years ago when experimenting with growing seeds, we never knew whether the seed was going to be a future male plant or a female plant, or hermaphrodite. Is it really possible now days to tell if the seed is actually female? I only ask this because of the lable on one of your seed bags says FEM, which I assume means female? If so, that's impressive that science has come this far that one can determine the sex of a seed. Also, I had been told that the growing conditions during the early stages of the plant could actually alter the sex of the plant. Not sure if that was an old wife tale or not. Have you heard this? Thanks R
  18. Hello neytil. I'm no expert sailor, in fact, I'm just a beginner. So to answer your question I went to the Hobie forum and one answer from "fusineng" was this from 5mph winds to 20 mph winds. With just the mainsail up I have a hard time getting any faster than around 5-6 mph (on gps) typically. In low wind under 8 mph (typical in Sarasota bay) it is not so fun, unless you like going 1.5-2 mph One forum member said he has had it in winds up to 30mph. I'm using it more for the exercise and fishing more than the sailing aspect. But I like the idea that if I am sailing and the wind dies down to zip, I can still peddle or paddle the kayak back to shore. The price was 291,308 baht for the kayak and another 36,481 baht for the beach dolly. Not cheap!
  19. Well, just in case there is someone out there that might be interested in buying a Hobie Tandem Island sailing kayak, I finally located the new Hobie dealership company for Thailand. It's called Siam Watercraft and the main office is in Pathum Thani. The GM's name is Mark. So, I finally have one now down here in Krabi. Life is good!
  20. I never noticed before the words "Alien's ASSRESS".
  21. I'm getting close to moving back down to near the ocean from up here in Nakhon Nowhere. I want to spend more time out on the ocean and I like the idea of the Tandem island where it can be paddled, pedaled or sailed. I thought that there was a distributor just south of Pattaya called Blue Seas Marina but when I contacted them, they said that they no longer carry them. Does anyone here know where to buy one of these here in Thailand?
