  1. I have TOT on the north side of Pattaya and have had the same issues.
  2. Personally I avoid the big name hospital(s) in Pattaya. I suggest checking out Samitivej in Siricha.
  3. Why is it only "Tourists"? What about locals? Different parking rules?
  4. Squirt gun full of vinegar. Shoot them right in the face. Harmless but they HATE it.
  5. If doing bike stunts on public roads in Pattaya is illegal, isn't it against forum rules to discuss it here?
  6. We recently stayed at Bella Villa Cabana in Pattaya and they are pet friendly.
  7. I buy mine here: shopfirework.com Lazada has plenty too. Think I'll blast a few extra tonight in Jomtien since it seems to be so popular. Cheers
  8. I always laugh when I see expats move to Thailand then complain that it isn't like their home country. There are planes leaving everyday, don't like it here? Get on one.
  9. North Sukumvit has many auto shops. I've found this place to be top notch for batteries. It's opposite the Cholchan Hotel. 12.985838077046838, 100.92242276019981 It is a Thai place, pretty dirty, but there is lots of parking, they speak good English, have a great selection, good prices and good service. You may get that "hole in the wall" feeling, but you're just buying a battery, not renting an apartment for your mom. This is Thailand by the way, if you want all the comforts of your home country I kindly suggest you just move back there. Meanwhile, since you're here, you may as well get used to it and then you may find the benefits of living here. I mean, your message could read, "I'd like to buy a battery but I'd also like to pay extra to help the shop keeper with is rent and air con bills" This shop changed my alternator and countless batteries. They have way more knowledge and experience than the new hires at those chain stores. And they get the job done FAST. I recommend Panasonic batteries, they seem to be the highest quality. Also, look at the cold cranking amps, (not the battery weight lol). Try to get the higher cranking amps if it's an option. Vroom Vroom.

    Sinus Surgery

Hi, Due to a couple of broken noses when I was young, I had a deviated septum and nasal polyps. I suffered for years. One sneeze and I'd get a sinus infection. I visited 3 of the major hospitals in the Pattaya/Siricha area. All of them said, "We want to avoid surgery, use sinus spray and flushes to control it." They also said "Here is your prescription and bill, see you next month". Then I went to Bumrungrad in Bangkok. (This was about 8 years ago). I'm fairly confident I met with Prayuth Tunsuriyawong but as I write I'm only basing that on the photo from the website. That doctor changed my life. I had 3 procedures done (at the same time). I had endoscopic surgery, septoplasty and Ultrasonic turbinate reduction. About 1 day recovery in the hospital and about 2 weeks of recovery otherwise, and wow, I can breathe through my nose at all times and haven't had an infection since. When I told this doctor what the previous 3 doctors had said, "Avoid surgery" he laughed and said, "Why would they say that? Surgery will solve the problem!" Best of luck to you and your friend. Edit: I think the bill for everything was just under 300k.
  11. That pretty much describes every tollway in Thailand. I assume you mean north bound highway 7 after leaving Pattaya. They are building a big rest area that will only be accessed from the motorway just like the one in Bang Pakong. It will surely have gas stations and restaurants and toilets. How do I know this? They have a big ol' sign there with the renderings showing what it will look like when finished. @bbko, several of us care. Get back to your bar stool.
  12. Hi, My wife and I also used Nawabutr Clinic and had a son the first time we tried. He is 11 years old now. Best of luck to you.
