  1. Squirt gun full of vinegar. Shoot them right in the face. Harmless but they HATE it.
  2. If doing bike stunts on public roads in Pattaya is illegal, isn't it against forum rules to discuss it here?
  3. We recently stayed at Bella Villa Cabana in Pattaya and they are pet friendly.
  4. I buy mine here: shopfirework.com Lazada has plenty too. Think I'll blast a few extra tonight in Jomtien since it seems to be so popular. Cheers
  5. I always laugh when I see expats move to Thailand then complain that it isn't like their home country. There are planes leaving everyday, don't like it here? Get on one.
  6. North Sukumvit has many auto shops. I've found this place to be top notch for batteries. It's opposite the Cholchan Hotel. 12.985838077046838, 100.92242276019981 It is a Thai place, pretty dirty, but there is lots of parking, they speak good English, have a great selection, good prices and good service. You may get that "hole in the wall" feeling, but you're just buying a battery, not renting an apartment for your mom. This is Thailand by the way, if you want all the comforts of your home country I kindly suggest you just move back there. Meanwhile, since you're here, you may as well get used to it and then you may find the benefits of living here. I mean, your message could read, "I'd like to buy a battery but I'd also like to pay extra to help the shop keeper with is rent and air con bills" This shop changed my alternator and countless batteries. They have way more knowledge and experience than the new hires at those chain stores. And they get the job done FAST. I recommend Panasonic batteries, they seem to be the highest quality. Also, look at the cold cranking amps, (not the battery weight lol). Try to get the higher cranking amps if it's an option. Vroom Vroom.

    Sinus Surgery

Hi, Due to a couple of broken noses when I was young, I had a deviated septum and nasal polyps. I suffered for years. One sneeze and I'd get a sinus infection. I visited 3 of the major hospitals in the Pattaya/Siricha area. All of them said, "We want to avoid surgery, use sinus spray and flushes to control it." They also said "Here is your prescription and bill, see you next month". Then I went to Bumrungrad in Bangkok. (This was about 8 years ago). I'm fairly confident I met with Prayuth Tunsuriyawong but as I write I'm only basing that on the photo from the website. That doctor changed my life. I had 3 procedures done (at the same time). I had endoscopic surgery, septoplasty and Ultrasonic turbinate reduction. About 1 day recovery in the hospital and about 2 weeks of recovery otherwise, and wow, I can breathe through my nose at all times and haven't had an infection since. When I told this doctor what the previous 3 doctors had said, "Avoid surgery" he laughed and said, "Why would they say that? Surgery will solve the problem!" Best of luck to you and your friend. Edit: I think the bill for everything was just under 300k.
  8. That pretty much describes every tollway in Thailand. I assume you mean north bound highway 7 after leaving Pattaya. They are building a big rest area that will only be accessed from the motorway just like the one in Bang Pakong. It will surely have gas stations and restaurants and toilets. How do I know this? They have a big ol' sign there with the renderings showing what it will look like when finished. @bbko, several of us care. Get back to your bar stool.
  9. Hi, My wife and I also used Nawabutr Clinic and had a son the first time we tried. He is 11 years old now. Best of luck to you.
  10. "Hello Everyone, Today we will do a sight seeing tour of second road. We will go from the Walking Street intersection to the Dolphin Round About. The trip should take about two hours.,, This evening, we will do a 3 hour tour of Thepressit and show you the nice new curb that has been stretched down the middle of the road..."
  11. The article doesn't discuss anything. The author does. Which is a person. Which is what you are discussing... I can't stop laughing, sorry...
  12. "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people." - Eleanor Roosevelt.
  13. You can take it to the Gems Gallery next to Makro on North Pattaya road.
  14. Hi! I know it's not normal on this forum but Yes, I can give you a straight forward answer to your straight forward question: Retail HQ / Liberty Computers Located on Soi Siam Country Club almost to the lake. The Manager's name is John, he's great. Otherwise request Kuhn New. He's very good and speaks good English. Cheers
  15. 316 is also Marine Grade as it can go in the ocean and not have any corrosion. Anyone looking for 316 hardware can find it at the boat shops around the marinas etc. or on marine hardware websites. Careful though, they seem to mark up the price a lot. If you're worried about the bolts locking up (personally I've only had issues with using different metals, like stainless bolts in aluminum threads) then you should use anti-seize or molybdenum grease. This will last way way longer than oil. You can also buy special non-conductive grease if different metals are used.
  16. Here you go. https://www.abpon.co.th/en/home/ I buy 316 hardware from them often. If they can't ship to you send me a message. Cheers
  17. Classic Aseannow... Ask for some websites because you want to build a bike and all you get are 4 replies telling you not to do it. Awesome!! I build bikes all the time. It would help if you told us what kind of bike you want to build. I'm building a dirt jump bike and a freeride bike now. A couple of BMX bikes will be next. Building bikes is fun and easy if you have the right tools and know-how. Don't let the bar stool finger jockeys deter you. worldbike.co.th 888bike.net those are a couple. But honestly I have the best luck on FB marketplace. If second hand is what you are after. For better or worse, I buy a lot of parts on Amazon from the USA. Shipping isn't too bad and duties on bike parts is 10% I just got a Manitou Circus fork for the dirt jumpper from Amazon, $600 fork, paid $80 for shipping. Arrived in about 3 weeks.
  18. Thai Visa Pattaya 5 stars on google with 243 reviews says it all.
  19. You can try this company: Sricharoen Just google it. They probably won't come do onsite work but they are a good supplier. Another idea, no so easy, is to go down to Ocean Marina area south of Jomtien. Lots of boat builders around that area who can weld aluminum. HomePro? LOL I have a CNC machining company. We don't weld aluminum but we cut it all day long. Wish we could help more. All the best,
  20. I guess your "activities" are different than everyone else after a bar fine. Some Yahtzee, UNO games...... Can't keep a kite in the air??
  21. So are we free to discuss illegal acts here now???\ https://ilo-phuket.com/legal-documents/prostitution.html Can I bet online?? Surely I can go to soi 6 and pay a bar fine for nothing illegal.
  22. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prostitution_in_Thailand#:~:text=Prostitution in Thailand is officially,of employment in rural areas. Interesting... actually my comment is more about forum rules than you frequenting hookers... Stuff I actually care about, like using betting apps, those posts are closed..
