I too joined the navy at 15(HMS Ganges) I left UK many years ago for Aust, but have been visiting Thailand for the last 8 years. Having spent the last 14 months on Samui, i know that this is where i want to be. I could never live in England again visited in 2009 to see family, but when the novelty wore off so did the desire to be there. Living in Thailand certainly is different.
