And again, that could easily be us in future, creating life, and populate other planets, and other galaxies. We can become god. But again, if a creator, who created the creator and so on.

Im happy to live my life in trust we just have this time, so no reason to waste it on things we can not know, but at same time be seeking som kind of accept and understanding. Be good, do your best, and live life the best way you can.

Do you honestly believe humans in the future will be able to create human life from the earth, animals, sea life, and plant life in the future?  It is obvious you have no understanding of how complex human DNA is, not to mention that of all other living creatures and plant life on this planet.

There is only one person who lived on this planet who was free of sin.  Jesus Christ died so we could have an eternal life with Him and God.   Don't throw your opportunity of salvation away by turning a blind eye on the truth.  The last thing anyone in the right mind should want to do is die as a non-believer.

  2. Scientific proof God exists is DNA

The amount of information in human DNA is roughly the equivalent to 12 sets of The Encyclopedia Britannica, which is an incredible 384 volumes.  DNA is so filled of detailed information, that it would fill 48 feet of library shelves.

Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, said, "DNA is like a software program, only much more complex than anything we have ever devised."  Can you imagine something more intricate than the most complex program running on a supercomputer being devised by accident through evolution, regardless of how much time, how many mutations and how much natural selection takes place?

The only logical conclusion one come possibly come up with is this type of high-level information contained in DNA originated from an intelligent source beyond this planet which would be God.

If you can deny DNA in humans, animals, sea life, plants and even bacteria isn't scientific proof of God our Creator, then the only thing that comes to mind is you have been blinded by Satan or you have a low cognitive ability.

Here's another quote from Lincoln for ya...

“The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma.”

     Abraham Lincoln

He's also been quoted saying that he has never denied the truth of the scriptures...which by no stretch implies he believes them, nor intentionally disrespected the Christian faith...which does imply that some thought him disrespectful towards Christianity.

“That I am not a member of any Christian Church, is true,” he responded in a handbill; “but I have never denied the truth of the Scriptures; and I have never spoken with intentional disrespect of religion in general, or of any denomination of Christians in particular.”

    --Abraham Lincoln

In later years Lincoln wrote this which would indicate he figured out the Bible was a gift from God.

In regards to this great Book [the Bible], I have but to say it is the best gift God has given to man. All the good the Savior gave to the world was communicated through this Book. But for it we could not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and hereafter, are found portrayed in it.

Or imaginative people interpret natural beauty as a divine revelation without an iota of evidence of such, but rather on personal credulity. :coffee1:

    Quotes

    • I cannot imaging anyone looking at the sky and denying God. — Abraham Lincoln.
    • As the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, so the denial of God is the height of foolishness. R.C. Sproul
    • Jesus died for you in public so don’t only live for him in private.

  5. "What happens to those who have never heard about Jesus?"

All people are accountable to God whether or not they have “heard about Him.” The Bible tells us that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature (Romans 1:20) and in the hearts of people (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The problem is that the human race is sinful; we all reject this knowledge of God and rebel against Him (Romans 1:21-23). If it were not for God’s grace, we would be given over to the sinful desires of our hearts, allowing us to discover how useless and miserable life is apart from Him. He does this for those who continually reject Him (Romans 1:24-32).

In reality, it is not that some people have not heard about God. Rather, the problem is that they have rejected what they have heard and what is readily seen in nature. Deuteronomy 4:29 proclaims, “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.” This verse teaches an important principle—everyone who truly seeks after God will find Him. If a person truly desires to know God, God will make Himself known.

  6. Instead of continuing to post nonsensical remarks about which God to believe in and denying Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, you people should give serious thought to what the Bible tells us about what is coming our way.  I would not want to be a non-believer during the Tribulation.  I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

The End Times - Before the Tribulation

Rapture—The Rapture is when Jesus returns to the sky and takes up the believers, dead and alive, so they will not have to suffer God's wrath during the Tribulation. They are judged at the Bema Seat of Christ, rewarded for their good works, and given glorified bodies. The marriage supper of the Lamb will also take place. There are no precursors to the Rapture; it could happen at any time.

    1 Thessalonians 4:13-181 Corinthians 3:11-4:5Revelation 19:7-9

No, it's no shock to me at all. I know the bible is full of such stories. The shock comes rather from the fact that you can not see past the obvious allegories and metaphors, and perceive God as limited by vengeance and as head of some sort of exclusive membership club.

God is there for all of us, all of the time, whether you believe in him or not, whether you believe in one religion or the other, whether you are an atheist or a pious monk or the worst of the criminals.

God's love is not bound by anything but your own heart.

Jesus is the only way to heaven. Such an exclusive statement may confuse, surprise, or even offend, but it is true nonetheless. The Bible teaches that there is no other way to salvation than through Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself says in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” He is not away, as in one of many; He is the way, as in the one and only. No one, regardless of reputation, achievement, special knowledge, or personal holiness, can come to God the Father except through Jesus.

No, i think you need to open your mind a bit, honestly, i wish i could help you.

I believe that is projection on your part.  The Bible is very clear on what happens to us when we die.  Everyone will kneel before Jesus, and we will all spend eternity in either Heaven or Hell.  To pretend otherwise is a very foolish decision.

For those who have actually read the Bible, Revelation is crystal clear about how events will unfold in the "end times."  We are living in the end times.

Think for a moment we didn't evolve from some single cell in some obscure mud muddle billions of years ago, and were created by God as explained in the Bible.  If a person had average intelligence and a little common sense, I would think they could just look at nature and know the God of the Bible is real.

Once you take your last breath, it will be too late to ask Jesus for forgiveness.  Don't be deceived or blinded by Satan.

According to the Bible and various legends and stories, there have been races of giants on the planet, people whose life was centuries long, not to talk about the flying machines and the sky battles of the Veda.

Possibly there are races in this universe who have fancier technology than us, and pay us a visit from time to time.

Once i read a theory that it could be us travelling in the past to create the future, who knows.

Perhaps "time" is not a straight line, but some sort of spherical thing.

Every time I read many of these posts about "do you believe in God," I feel as though I just visited the twilight zone.  The Bible is the word of God, and was written for us to know where we came from, our purpose in life, and where we are going.  To pretend otherwise is beyond being foolish.  Everyone makes mistakes in life but denying Jesus Christ died for our sins and God created the universe is the mother of all mistakes.

Besides, what happened to the steam train in the mid 19th century? That one really was a big step in transportation, fast and affordable. You forgot about that one?

And what happened to the Renaissance and the Age of Enlightenment, you know....those periods of time when knowledge became important again, after about 1000 years of Christian Dark Ages...Forgot those ones as well?

    DarkAges.gif?resize=363%2C323

The point is, compared to what was before, that transportation innovation and those increases in knowledge were relevant to your prophecy then, as the car or computer is now.
So, when is this famed Day of Reckoning coming?

Only God knows the date, the time and the hour, and only God knows when time will run out. While Scripture nowhere encourages us to try to determine the date of Jesus’ return, we are told to keep watch because we don’t know what day our Lord will come (Matthew 24:42).

Travel and Knowledge increased many times throughout history...just sayin...

You must have slept during your history classes.  Up until the late 1800's and early 1900's, people either traveled on sailing ships, horses, or walked.  Computers were invented in our lifetime.

You guys who keep trying to deny God's word as written in the Bible are beating a dead horse.  Have you ever read about the Rapture and the Tribulation in the Bible?  We will probably live to see and experience both.  It only takes about 72 hours to read the Bible.  The mind is a terrible thing to waste.....just saying.

C'mon now, CMNightRider. This is not a prediction of the future but a description of the normal state of affairs in all (or at least most) civilizations during the time the Old Testament scriptures were written, and also prior to the Old Testament.

Greed, hatred, envy, and lust for pleasures and power over others, have always been a driving force in both ancient civilizations and modern civilizations. Gautama Buddha understood this perfectly, 500 years before Jesus Christ appeared on the scene.

Wars, conflicts, famines, plagues and diseases, have always afflicted the human species, as they have afflicted  other animals. It used to be thought that humans were the only species that fought in wars, until Jane Goodall observed a tribe of Chimpanzees killing off another tribe.

      Apparently you missed this part;

    1. Travel and Knowledge will increase (Daniel 12:4)
    2. Return of Jewish Nation (Jeremiah 23:7-8)
  13. Here are some signs leading up to the end times:

    1. People will be lovers of self and money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, no self control, brutal, hating good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of Godliness, but denying its power, and swayed by all kinds of evil desires.   (2 Timothy 3:1–9)
    2. Travel and Knowledge will increase (Daniel 12:4)
    3. Knowing this first, that there shall come IN THE LAST DAYS scoffers,
    4. walking after their own lusts, And saying, WHERE IS
THE PROMISE OF HIS COMING? (2 Pet 3:3-4)
    5. Return of Jewish Nation (Jeremiah 23:7-8)
    6. Creation of strong Kingdoms (nations), which will then disperse into one large and all-powerful Kingdom with an evil leader (a one world government). (Daniel 7)
    7. Rise of the Antichrist, which will head the government system (Daniel 7, Revelation). There will be many signs when this comes as well as I will discuss in future posts.
    8. Return of Christ, tribulation, and rapture will also take place at some point.
    9. Then further incredible signs and wonders will take place until the destruction of the world, the great judgment, and the new Heaven and new Earth is revealed.

  14. The Rapture is an end times event where Jesus Christ returns for His Church.  According to the Bible, the event will be instantaneous, in the “twinkling of an eye.”  While Scripture nowhere encourages us to try to determine the date of Jesus’ return, we are told to keep watch because we don’t know what day our Lord will come (Matthew 24:42).  We are in the end times right now.

Your interpretation of the bible-quotes that 74% of the world-population (non christian) is doomed and will suffer eternal damnation (together with all those that were born before AD) should make you wonder whether that interpretation is indeed a correct one...

My interpretation??  I never said that.  Maybe you should take advantage of this lockdown period and read the Bible.

  16. The Bible is the word of God and is powerful and life changing. The promises of God start with 2 Timothy 3:16 when God tells us that all Scriptures in the Bible are inspired by God. With this promise of God in hand we can then be assured that what we learn in the Bible comes from Him!

The sad fact is that for those who choose today to not believe in Jesus Christ, that day will be a terrible one.

Never underestimate the skill Satan uses to deceive humanity. The book of Revelation plainly says he is “that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray” (Revelation 12:9NIV).

By many of the foolish comments I have read on this site, it appears many of you have been deceived by Satan.  You may find it amusing to feed on each others silly comments but for those who don't wake up, the end result will come with an eternity of regret.

Scripture says that stupid people are people who act rashly, they are lazy, they are quick tempered, they pursue evil, they scoff at rebuke, they reject Christ as their Savior, and they deny God even with the clear evidences in the world.

  17. Did you know the Bible is the only book in the world that has accurate prophecy?

When you read the prophecies of the Bible, you simply have to stand back in awe. There are over 300 precise prophecies that deal with the Lord Jesus Christ in the Old Testament that are fulfilled in the New Testament. To say that these are fulfilled by chance is an astronomical impossibility.

From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible reads as one book.

And there is incredible unity to the Bible. The Bible is one book, and yet it is made up of 66 books, was written by at least 40 different authors over a period of about 1600 years, in 13 different countries and on three different continents. It was written in at least three different languages by people in all professions. The Bible forms one beautiful temple of truth that does not contradict itself theologically, morally, ethically, doctrinally, scientifically, historically, or in any other way.

Did you find something about the current state of affairs ?

I don't think the coronavirus is mentioned by name in the Bible.  What you may find interesting is going to YouTube and type in Prophecy Update with Pastor Mark Correll.  This pastor follows what the Bible says about the times we are living in and how it relates to current events.
