A bit like that nasty spoilt child who won't let others touch his toys but will take the other children's toysUnfortunately for foreigners to openly own land you will have to change the national anthem as a section of it is rendered variously as saying:
Nation of the people; belonging to the Thais in every respect. Land of Thailand belongs to the Thais. Every inch of Thailand belongs to the Thais.
Many Thai people consider it is their nationalistic duty not to cede the land of Thailand either to foreign nations or to foreigners.

My wife owns 3 investment properties in Australia 100% and not 49% (land and buildings) but I am forbidden from investing in Thailand. There should be laws that if a farang is banned in Thailand then Thais should be banned overseas. Won't happen tho as other countries welcome foreign investment no matter how small.

Good News, Saint Nicholas has just been released from Hospital and will fly back to Melbourne tomorrow morning. Will probably miss 2 weeks.

Tipsters Sunday Dilemma
Well! here we are, Sunday, and NINE tipsters could be looking at a perfect 9/9
There is the 50/50 choice of Collingwood or Richmond. both under performed last week and need a win. On paper they both have some decent players to win the game
Then we have the Doggies v Freo. Doggies at their favored venue of Etihad stadium. Freo due for a loss. Could be an upset on the cards
I guess we have brissie v Port also. It would be a brave tipster that bets on the Lions to win...but maybe that's what is needed t win the round.
Decisions...decisions
Pies, Freo and Port for me.

nick wasn't subbed, the saints had already used thier sub when lonie went down in the 1st. Saints played a man down for the last 3 quartersSaint Nick down in a heavy clash, gone for the game.
That was a cruncher to the head
Saints lost the game but they were competitive. Didn't help St Kilda having Nick subbed out so early.
Melbourne on the other hand..
What a drubbing

Rory Sloane may be St Kilda's next captain, was a Saint supporter as a kid, out of contract and Richo is courting him. He wants to return to Victoria and Saint Nick has already said he will step aside to allow him to be captain something he wants.
-
The saints are on a roll and fired up, could be an upset in Adelaide. Well maybe not.I just hope tomorrow I pick the winner and close to the margin. My margin has skyrocketed. I hope Norths will win. Friday nights have seen upsets and big margins.
I agree WB could be the upset of the round.

The bottom 6 will fight for draft positions, isn't that what is commonly known as tanking?Guy's, this is certainly different. I quite like it (I think) although
there would be quite a few games with little or no value. There
are now though I guess.
Thoughts?
Fixture top of the agenda for club CEOs meeting with the AFL
Under that proposal all clubs would play each other once in their first 17 games before the competition is split into three groups of six according to each club's ladder position (which could be after round 18 depending on byes).
The top six teams would then play each other once in the remaining five rounds for their position in the finals, the middle six teams would compete for seventh and eighth position and the bottom six teams would fight for draft positions.

Undefeated in the fantasy league, one game clear on top. Play ripswans next week who could take top spot on percentage. Had we played each other this week he would have been sitting on top.
