Looks like you are pasting into a document that has an English (or non Thai) font selected. Make the text dark with your house and select a Thai font.
Don't understand the copying TH/EN problem. Are you using one of these modern things like XP or Vista?

Well, the party is in a pretty sad state of affairs. They've shown they're willing to do anything BUT actually win an election to get into power...
Cheers to that. The PPP is being criticized to death in other threads, but the Democrats behaviour since the start of this little lark in 2006 hasn't done much for
their reputation and standing.
Is it the Oxford influence?
Abhisit doesn't even go boating!
Jolly poor show.

You might also like to know that the "funeral" has not passed.
Cremation in another couple of months or so.

Not being a monk I hate concrete walls.
Why not built a natural stone wall if there's enough in your area? You could also plant a hedge! Bamboo grows quite quickly and is strong and will be cow proof.

Have a look at www.w3.org/ for web standards.

Thais seem to be incapable of using the off switch to stop these "actors/actrsses" who are incapable of controlling themselves or their kids.
I'd love to see some audience research published. Do people really understand all the gabbling and remember the instant telephone numbers?

It's signposted on the right just before you come to the Bangkok Bank.

A Thai person , Many Thai people
You are using 'Thai' here as an adjective, so in your examples, it will not be pluralised.
Thai - singular
Thais - plural
Absolutely correct.
By the way, it hippy the adjective for hippo?

Bangkok Post website is a disaster.
The day after the Princess died the website had two stories. One about her death and another about her being more unwell.
The Nation's site is messy but a bit more modern.
It would do them both good if they kep to www international standards.

Thoughy you had fixed my problems but. . .
Anybody know why Lotus Busakorn TTF won't make a pdf properly? English is OK but Thai doesn't work.
Need this for my work because it uses English line spacing and not Thai.
Please help my depression!

I'd like to take a paper carrier bag with me each time I go shopping.
Should be OK for 6 months or so, as I remember.
None of this plastic bag rubbish during the war, was there?

I'm ex-BBC radio as well (1956/7) but my batteries are flat now.

I love them and always reply. I like to think one of them might be the real thing.
I also googled my name and found that I'm a scammer too!
I've also won two lotteries recently but problems, problems!

I don't think Eye Browse from Bitstream will do it.
What I need is four new characters for low, rising, high and falling tones over the vowels. Ordinary Thai/English fonts don't do these.
Thanks anyway.

Can any one help please?
I would like to modify an English TTF to add some tone accents to use with English transliterations.
Is there a simple bit of freeware to do this?
Many thanks.

One thing I find particularly annoying as I get older is the strange habit of banks building their counters on the first floor and thereby making them inaccessible except by an unsupported stair climb.
Bangkok Bank head office in Silom is OK but all there branches are not.

Mr Jay I am 62 and not long for this world - I hope I have a friend like you turn up at the time
I thought Scots things improved with age. Why do you think you have so little time in left?
I got christened in Scotland and I'm only 74 so far, but I do hope it stops being cold soon; frozen icecream is better than frozen marrow.
Remember the Queen Mum got to be 100.

Sad but necessary. It's the end of an Era.
I always used Netscape until Firefox came along.
Can't understand why anybody wants to use Explorer or Word for that matter: I'm quite happy with Amipro.

Surin Province steps up aid to residents affected by cold
Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office Chief Visate Sitirapattanakul (วิเศษ สถิรพัฒนกุล) stated that cold weather in Surin Province has reached emergency proportions with cold conditions covering the province for the past 4 days. The province has been declared an emergency disaster zone and the province has requested a budget of 350,000 baht to purchase utilities for residents affected by the chill.
The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office has conducted a survey of citizens affected by the cold and found that up to 127,257 residents are without sufficient utilities to battle the conditions.
Some 17 thousand blankets have been distributed but the province has asked that private organizations and other citizens help donate more blankets as still over a 100 thousand people are in need.

I suppose they must live in a different part of the province.

Most likely the usual standard of incompetence.
For instance, they don't use www standards and neither know that Thailand has a Prime Minister (sometimes) but not a premier.

I would just ilke to say that in my 20 years here in Thailand I have never had anything but good service from the British Embassy in Bangkok. Prompt and efficient.
Its a bit pricey and it should be cheaper because the Thai staff are not paid UK rates.
