Does she have a car license? If only here for a month then it seems like a waste of time going to get the license which would take at least 1 day, maybe more?. I have been pulled over many times before I got a Thai license and showed them my car license from back home. Then just waved on.
Yes she has. That is a good way before she is able to get a motorbike license .

maybe I did not ask my question clearly.
What I want to know is: my friend has no tourist visa, only a stamp on her passport when she entered Thailand. In this case, is she qualified to do the application for motorbike license? Or she had to get a tourist visa first before she applies for license?
For the rest of the procedure, I already know because I got my motorbike license early this year. Of course, I have a long term visa ....
Thanks !

Fined for no license? I've never even been asked for one in 3 years living here!!!
Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app
She tried "play and seek" game with police... but still got caught.. Needs to practice and improve

Hello,
My friend has come to Thailand with her European passport and she can stay here for 1 month without any visa.
Can she apply for a motorbike driving license? If yes, what are the requirements for tourists?
Thanks a lot in advance. Last night, she already got a penalty for 500 baht.

Where tofind 50-baht meal in Pattaya ?
I guess you are taking your Hi So Rich Chinese's wife and her family out to eat. You are a sport
Another arrogant, narrow-minded, ignorant but big mouth frog from the bottom of the well !
Really speechless... Sounds like he is from another planet or middle age.

I often go shopping in Tesco Lotus on North Pattaya Rd. then eat in the food court inside. Many to choose under 50 baht, like Kao Mum Gai (40 , rice with pork (40 B)etc. And there is also free drinking water. All big super markets have food court, but not all have free drinking water.
In fact, I like eating in food court. Cool, convenient and clean .

Hi,
My friend just moved to "The Meadows". Now she finds the house exterior wall has serious leakage problem in rainy season.
Does anyone know a good worker that can fix this?
Thanks

Thanks! For my mom's tourist visa extension. (Always like to prepare everything ready beforehand )

When you go out, don't hold the hand bad etc in your hands. Some bad guys on motorbike will rob it away from you easily. Use the bags that can put cross your shoulder.
Wong Amat Beach (in Naklua area) is quite good. Quiet and clean. I see many tourists stay with their babies/kids. And on the street, there are many travel agents. You can easily book a one day trip to various kinds of places/activities including Tiger Zoo, Open Zoo, etc.
Good Luck!

Pullman Hotel in Naklua area is also good.
Nice kid playroom. I guess there also have kid swimming pool. The price is cheaper than Centara.
Beach road area is not suitable for kids at all. Noisy and lousy.

Hi,
My mom has a tourist visa for 60 days stay in Thailand.
If she goes to extend her stay:
1. Does the fee is a fixed one, 2100 baht, no matter you apply to extend 1 week or 1 month?
2. In fact same as Q 1---- is the extension application days fixed, or flexible ? Can you just apply for 1 week, 2 weeks etc based on your actual need?
Have a nice weekend !

Thanks! Solved

Hi,
Can anyone confirm if my info is right?
Do the first 2 buses (from North Pattaya Station) to BKK Ekamai start on 7:20am and 7:40am ? Am going BKK next week, still hesitating which bus to take.
Thanks

Yes, North Point. Every morning I do exercise under the trees and look up and see the two empty tables shinning inside the window of Pullman... and I can just utter a sigh....
North Point's security management is good. But others just so so ... Suggested many times to the committee to put a Ping Pong table (here has lots of empty space !! ), but no one gives a !@#@!##@! .

Thanks Craig! But I think at the moment, I will start working on Pullman...and I feel the chance of success is over 90%

You won't get past the front desk at North Shore without a resident accompanying you. If you did, the elevators require key cards.
They had problems with guests bringing in others/loaning key cards and now have procedures in place to deal with this. Sorry, but it will be tough getting into North Shore.
Hmmm, I must say I like their management way... although it seems now even less chance to play there.. very difficult to find a Ping Pong pal living in North Shore..
Ok, now I focus on Pullman Hotel

Oh, last time we walked in, the receptionist boy requested us to write room number and guest name. So, no problem , as we had a relative staying there.
Now I have another option besides that manager who I met from mama group. Pullman is the contract hotel of the company my hub works in. Will let HR contact hotel sales next week.... Good Luck to me !!

hi M,
No, I did not. But I played often in Fairtex in the past. The problem is inside is so hot, can only play in the morning.
Or, if you are interested to come to Pullman to play, I can ask their manger tomorrow and give you a feedback.
PS: did you get my SMS? I sent it to you in the morning

Ha ha, on a 2nd thought, I think my question is quite reasonable.
How often do hotels ad for their dinner/buffet and want to attract more outsiders to dine in their hotel ?! And some hotels also offer spa etc to outsiders.... The more the better !!!
And in my hometown, schools and universities open their sport facilities to outsiders with charge.
I will figure a way out with Pullman as I just live next door to it (I see very few people using those 2 tables). North Shore is a bit further to me

Yes. the "Boiled Meat" looks similar to that photo.
No, there are no "numbing pepper seeds" in this dish . But it still tastes good to us (thanks to those dried chilli ) And in China, some people don't like numbing pepper seeds. Not only numb, but also a bit itching, hehe .
I think it is difficult to get those pepper seeds in Thailand.....

I find 2 really nice places for ping pong with air con:
1.Pullman Hotel has 2 tables in the Gym area. Weeks ago we played there because our relative stayed there (outsiders are not allowed to use these facilities). I also know a manger in the hotel, but not very close relationship. If I bother her every a few days, I'm afraid she will scream
2. North Shore Condo. It only allows residents to play. Pity I know nobody there.
Now I'm fed up with Fairtex. Every time I reach out my hands to the corner for balls, I will see dead cockroaches lying there, and spider web, or some dead geckos.. and the air is so filthy. They have locked the backdoor and in hot season it feels like sauna.
If anyone has any close friend in Pullman or Northshore, maybe this can help us play ping pong in a nice environment..
PS: maybe it sounds silly to ask.. but I still try to ask, ho ho
Thanks a lot in advance
