You will sleep better actually as your body will start healing while fasting.
Don't lots of 24 and 48 hours fastings (only drinking water)
The longest I've ever done was 7 days on water

I am slowly getting through the process... Managed to step 5 now they want copies of various documents. What's really crazy is that they require an invitation letter from my wife?? I am not booking any hotels as will stay at her house. But why invitation? Isn't this obvious? I am married to my wife.
How should such letter be written?

I am married to a Thai person. Past 10 years i was living in Thailand and I had visa non Imm-O visa as married to Thai.
Now I am in UK and this will be my first time I apply for non imm-O visa from here.
I am trying to apply for visa on the website:https://thaievisa.go.th
I set up an account. I provide all the information required and when I click on proceed it tells me: ACCESS IS INVALID, PLEASE TRY AGAIN.
and that's over and over.
Did anyone encounter similar problems? What to do? Can I just go to Thai Embassy in London and apply in person?

Stay away from huahin. Been here 16 years. And with every year development (new condos, houses, shopping malls, markets etc) it becomes more polluted, more traffic jam. Choose some place in kao Tao, or pranburi.
Not in huahin but near.

I was in similar situation as you.
Just after 2 weeks my gf started howing these signs: extreme jelousy, control freak. Always nagging, complaining, calling every 10 min.
When she got mad, which was everyday (and got over smallest thing like: while in restaurant with her, orderring food could be a reason to fight cause i looked at the waitress while ordering food. So clearlybi was flirting with the waitress. Nonsense like that.
Verbal abuse, at home often started fighting, punching, kicking, blackmailing. I was pretty patient, but after a month i just left.
She was threatening me that if i leave she will kill herself. Which i believed seeing how crazy she is.
So one day i told her i am going to 7-11 but snack.
And never came back.
Took only my passport with me.
Left everything else.
Changed my phone number. Cancelled FB, changed email. Mlved to another city, got a new job
You should do the same. Just quietly leave. Leave your job. Move elsewhere.
If want leave her just one message saying that u go back to your contry. Saying clearly: that you have had enough of her abuse. Make copy of it. And keep it. Or even send to few people

Perhaps you get slower, smaller and dumber.
They never really bother me here. My wife (thai) get bitten sometimes. I almost never get bitten.
And I do not use any sprays, or other killing/ catching inventions.
Just let them be.
Focus on things that matter
And shower. Theyvare attracted to sweat...
