same. been here 8 years. and all te talk is around food. or sleping or mai roo.
most thais do not read, do not learn on their own, they are not "wolrd curious"
simple example. they all seems to like football and support one of tge biggest clubs. like chelsea or livetpol. or alsrenal or manchester united.
but if you ask them yo nam any of the players from their favorite club, most cannot name any.
they "like'' these teams cause they bet money on them , thats all

to those who omplain about taking the ranks down: get a job or do something meaningful intead of constant complains.
seems most TV members are just like old women who do nothing other than complain.
those taxi driversvwho do not live in mansions and pay lots of money to th mafia are fully aware they do illegal stuff.
they could get normal job if they wanted to.
but the chose to do this, and live of cheating tourists who are forced to pay insane crazy prices for taxis

Please tell me how can you be a legal father of your baby if you are not maiied.
I just have become a father too. 2 months ago.
I;m Polish and mother is Thai.
We are not married.
last week i went with my GF to the ampoe to get the legalization statement from the municipality stating that im the father of the baby.
The refused saying i;m not married.
And i was told that if i do nto get married i need to wait until my baby is 7 years old to approve that i;m the father.
nedless to say, without this document i cannot apply for polish passport for my baby.
So please tell me how did you get your legal father document... and from where?
BTW. bith certificate from the hospital is not a legal document is thats what you are talking about

seen it myself. been teaching here for past 6 years.
In pattaya everything seems gross as they are doing it publicly, in small towns it is not as open, but everybody knows it exists.

the word mun (man) is very offensive to anybody. Thai or a foreigner.
My gf everytime when she is angry at me and complains to her mother about me she uses MUN. in my presence. she knows i understand it so she says it in front of me just to further aggreviate me and show her anger.
i hate it.
i also hate it when they call foreigners A FARANG.
it is very offensive word, as in thai there is a word for a foreigner which translates as KHON TANG PRATHET/ TANG CHAAT.
