  1. Hello,
I can't find much info about going to Phuket with the Test & Go scheme if I travel from Germany with a transit in Bangkok. Is it even possible?
There are many such flights on Lufthansa website, but do they show only special BKK-PKT flights that don't require to pass immigration and leave the transit intentional area at the Bkk airport? or is it nor required? or is not the airline concern anyway?

Any info would be appreciated, thanks

  2. To make it more clear... I don't want happy ending at all. She doesn't need to give any tickles and nothing has to happen for me to tell her to stop.
Just I am ok if the shop also offers happy ending to other customers, as long as they are ok to also provide 100% legit massages too. (I have visited a few random shops that looked partially legit but I was still "kicked out" when I requested a simple foot massage without any extras)

I not particularly care about an expert thai massage, as I like it very very soft anyway.
It's just that due to my brain not working correctly... I can accept to be touched only by at least decently young/cute women (yes, even for a 100% legit massage)

I am not aware of anything that they would do if you were not in the country on the report back date on your under consideration stamp.

You would have to start all over again by getting new non-o visa and then do a new extension application.

You can apply for a extension up to 30 days or 45 days at some office.

Your could inform your local office you need to leave the country and they could contact the division headquarters to expedite the approval.

To avoid losing your non-o visa entry you could apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife and then apply again after you return to the country using a re-entry permit.

    Thanks a lot!
At Chaeng Wattana do you know if it's 30 or 45 days?
I used to get the extension in about 25 days so if I could apply 45 days in advance and still get the result in about 25 days then it could be enough to fix my case.

  4. Hello,
what is going to happen if I apply for the yearly extension but then suddenly I need to leave Thailand while the extension is being processed (and most likely accepted)?
Like, I get the stamp on passport to go pick up the new extension on a certain date but I am not in Thailand anymore.

I guess everything is lost and I will need to start everything from zero, but are there any other problems with immigration office about the missed appointment and unfinished process?

Also, how many days in advance are we allowed to apply for an 1 year extension before the expire date?

Or is there any way to speed up the review process in case I know I may have to suddenly leave Thailand before the usual appointment date?

    Thanks

  5. Hello,
    I am on a Marriage 1 year extension with a re-entry permit (expiring on 19 December 2021).
If I enter Thailand now (without a plane ticket to exit Thailand), do I need to have an insurance valid until 19 Dec 2021?
My friend is in the same situation, but his 1 year extension expires on May 2022. Does he need an insurance valid until May 2022?

In general, what kind of document they require to see from the insurance?
If I renew the yearly extension after the insurance is expired (and I not leave/enter Thailand again), are there any problems?

    Thanks

It would be best to do the change of address before doing the extension application. It might best to prepare a TM30 report before going to immigration. There have been reports of them wanting them for certain categories of extensions.

Does your wife have a house book registry for your condo? Without that you will need some other proof of your residence such as a Chanote or your the blue book for the condo if it is in your name.

Immigration does not normally want a to see a yellow house book. You would have to get a new yellow book for the condo after canceling the existing one.

Just to confirm, for the TM28/30 form I need to get a separate queue at another counter, right? Can those forms to notify the change of address be handled by the same officer that process the extend of stay?

  7. Hello,

I bought an old condo some months ago and have been doing some renovation work there.

Let's say I will officially move in on the same day that I have to visit the Immigration Office (Bangkok) to extend my permit of stay (marriage).

So on the same trip to the Immigration office, I would also like to change my registered address of residence for future 90 days reports.

    Questions:
    - when filling in the TM7 form and prepare related documents (Map of house, pictures with wife in/out house), can I already use the address of the new condo and pictures?

    - before presenting the above documents to the "extension" counter, should I present the TM28/30 form to another counter? (or can be done at the same extension counter along with other documents). Or can do it after applying for the extension? or can this process be skipped completely in Bangkok?

    - should I update my Yellow Tabian Baan to the new address before going to the Immigration? do it on the same day? do it after? doesn't matter at all?

    Thanks!

Will never buy shiiite Korean things anymore. Shiiite but cheaper Chinese tab are exactly the same now, people are just too stupid too understand.

Both Apple & Microsoft tablets are made in China although Apple is moving some manufacture to USA.  So, There is "good' Chinese and "bad" Chinese, I guess???, depending on whether they have MS or Apple logo's on them or not.    I am still not sure what the anti-Korean rant is all about.

P.S.  If the Korean & Chinese factories employed Sunni muslims as well as Shiite staff would you feel beter?

They all are crap but Samsung crap and apple costs double price compared to no brand electronics that are as good...

No brand electronics have lots of problems with their firmware. I am steering away from Samsung myself, but it's better to move to cheaper brands like Oppo or LG than to chinese brands at the moment. (unless u really need to just browse the web or similar)

  9. I do get the floors confused in MBK and usually identify the floors by the shops so perhaps it may not be the forth floor - but it is the floor where all the mobiles are sold and it is on the Lumpini side of MBK , not the Tokyu side, just as you enter the mobile phone section. Hope that helps.

Yes, the mobile phones floor is the 4th for sure.

Just I am not sure what you mean with "enter the mobile phone section". On the opposite side of Tokyu (which I guess should be the Lumpini side) there are some banks, Power Buy shops and then everything else is already mobile phones. Is it maybe near the Banks area? Honestly in all the 4th floor I never noticed any shop selling cloths... much less a section dedicated to cloths.

Thanks a lot for you replies!

  10. There is a shop/stall in MBK on the forth floor in-between where they sell all the phones and the section where the big men's clothes are that sell novelties and party items . I haven't seen those exactly but they do have other masks -horror and famous people type of stuff. Don't know if that helps at all but it may worth a try.

Today I tried to look in MBK 4th floor but I really couldn't find the shop you suggested :(

Are you sure it's the 4th floor? if so, do you maybe know if it's on Tokyu side or PowerBuy side? or in the area in the middle?

    Thanks again :)

  11. Like many others I was considering it too... but in the end I got scared of the Thai import tax (which from what I heard could be very little but also very big) and partially due to dead pixels problem.

    Got a U2713HM too.

Honestly maybe it's worth the risk if you want to buy a 30" Korean monitor (what I was looking for, much cheaper than a 30" Dell), but for sure I would not consider a 27" Korean monitor over the Dell one.

  12. Hello,

me and my thai wife are planning to buy a condo in Bangkok in the next year.

About 85% of the money would come from my Bank in Italy and transfered to my account at Kasikorn Bank.

The other 15% is my wife money already in Thailand in her bank account.

We plan to buy the condo on my name.

From my understanding usually I should get a FETF reporting an amount of money equal or greater than the price of the condo being purchased.

Is there any difference being married to a thai national? (as the condo will be common property anyway, whoever the name on the documents)

Or the above plan is simply not possible and I have to move the full amount from aboard to my thai bank anyway? (or transfer all the money to my wife account and buy it on my wife name)

    Thanks in advance!

  13. I'm planning to buy a Condo in BKK next year.

I would like to have more information on the FETF. Mostly I'd like to know how long, after I send the money to Thailand, I can actually go to the bank in BKK to get the FETF.

I'm asking this because I'm planning to transfer the money this year in the following months, but I'm going to Thailand to make the purchase not before March of next year.

Is it possible to do something like this? Or after transferring the money I need to quickly go to Thailand within few days to get the FETF?

Also, I'd like to transfer the money before actually knowing for sure which condo I'm going to buy. (the plan is buying second hand condo, find some interesting deals trough same agents on internet at first and then go to BKK for about 1 month to actually check as many condos as I can and buy something I like/can afford). Is this ok too? Or need to specify exactly which Condo I'm going to buy while making the bank transfer?

Finally, what happens in the case I decide not to buy anything? Can I keep the money in the Thai bank account and still have a valid FETF to use in the future? (if I can't find anything to buy this time, I will try again in 6-12 months)

    Thanks in adavance!
