I've just received my SCB credit card today, and when I follow the instructions to activate the card, I'm asked for a seven digit phone code. Does anyone know where to get that from? I've tried the last seven of my phone number, but that didn't work. I'v also called and asked customer service without any success. Might have to make the trip back to the bank to see if they can do it.

Villa Market in Avenue has them...I've started my own seedlings from the seeds.

I'm looking for something similar to the photo below, a 4 post open server rack, 12U - 15U would be ideal - any taller would be too tall. I'm not looking for the 2 post open, or the 4 post with cabinet enclosure that seem to be available here.
This seems to be available outside the country, but shipping is cost prohibitive. Wondering if anyone knows where I can find one in this style in Thailand?

Does anybody have the contact info for a guy named Wolfgang that does the roast pigs, ducks, chickens, etc? It is the one with the enclosed oven type grill. I have a photo, will post it if I can find it.
I'm looking for this guy particular, not any of the other ones that roast them on an open spit. Thanks for any help.

I live just up the road and eat there once or twice a week, as recently as last Thursday. They've recently started letting the thai's do more and more of the cooking and the taste and quality have gone considerably downhill. I'm northern Chinese, so yes, I do know what I'm talking about.

Hi all, I'm looking for a taxi (not a rental car) with driver to drive one passenger from Koh Samui to Songkhla. Meter taxis, private cars or companies are OK as long as the cars are in reasonable condition.
I'm not looking for a bus or anything else, just a car, preferably with an all in rate including the ferry crossing.
Any contacts with phone numbers or email address are appreciated.

Just did this in Singapore about two weeks ago (single entry Non-Imm B. Can confirm that they did want every single item on the Non-Imm B list posted on their website. A LOI alone will not suffice. They went through it all page by page, but once they were sure it was all there it was easy. Picked up the visa the next afternoon.
There was a group of four guys that had their B visas approved but were only given single entry when they had requested multiples. Don't know how that ended up as I picked up my passport and left before theirs had been settled.

Siriam, please update this thread once you've been to KL as I'm thinking about a trip down that way myself soon.
As promised here I am with my report.
This morning I was there 1 hour before they open, I was the first to apply.
I had all the paperwork they required including the proof of the 400k, which is the new requirement instead of 100k.
Regardless the lady in charge asked me why this time I did not apply for the year extension in Thailand, I told her that I just got the money on my account while for apply they need to be there at least 2 months.
Having learned that, she wanted to give me just 1 entry claiming that after 90 days I would have be entitled to apply for the year extension contacting the immigration office.
I insisted telling her that since I'm planning to travel a lot in/out Thailand, which is true, and since I was already there, I would prefer apply for the multi-entry.
Eventually I convinced her and I paid 550 ringgit accordingly.
Until I'll have the passport in my hands on Monday I cannot be 100% sure, but I'm pretty confident that I'll get what I asked for.
I believe they want somehow force us to apply for extensions in Thailand.
Till the next... Bye!

The new requirement for 400,000 Baht, does that now have to be in a Thai bank or can it still be in a foreign bank as before?
Seems it must be in a Thai bank only.

UPDATE : JUNE 2013
As from this month being June 2013 the Thai Embassy in Malaysia has again changed the rules for the multiple entry “O” visa. You now need to show 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account in order to obtain a Thai Marriage Visa (multiple entry) 12 month visa.

Thanks, that is not a problem. I assume that it needs to be printed on bank letterhead with my name and account number? Or do I just copy and bring my bankbook?
-
Thanks for that. I have just posted in a KL thread as well, but I'll ask here anyways. What about MULTI entry in Kuala Lumpur? Reason is I have to fly there for work anyways in September, don't want to make another trip to Laos or Cambodia if not absolutely necessary.
ps, I've just looked at flights to Savanakhet. Is there really only one airline flying there?
-
Can anybody confirm that they have gotten a MULTI entry Non Imm O from Kuala Lumpur based on marriage? I am legally married and have all paperwork/bank statements in order. I have one Non Imm B and two Non Imm O from Hull before. Hopeing for some clarification before I fly to Malaysia in September.
-
Hi, is there any update on getting a multiple entry Non Imm O in Cambodia? I am legally married to a Thai and have had one Non Imm B and two Non Imm O from Hull already. Trying to save the long trip back.

^ Secret Recipe, I think you mean. You can order ahead, the actual cakes are made in bangkok and delivered there daily.
-
Yup, on my last entry I got a 30 day stamp as well, even though I had my PP opened to my visa page. Caught it when it happened and had it changed immediately. Didn't matter much as I was I had to leave on a short notice trip one week later.

Transfertech is listed as a Line-X authorized dealer in Thailand, but over the past year, I haven't been able to get a reply to an email, or an answered phone call. No idea of cost, but assume it will quite a bit more than where you're from.
Here's the contact info if you want it:

Hi, I have been to both, closest I could find is the 2575 which I don't want as I don't need the TV feature and it is almost the same price as the 3790.
-
Like it says, I'm looking for either model Nuvi 2565 or 3790 In Laem Chabang of Pattaya that accepts credit cards and also offers VAT refund. Anybody know? I know Eaglegps carries both, but doesn't take credit cards and I'm a little iffy about ordering by post during the flooding.

Sounds like your UPS battery has run completely flat and is now toast and no longer able to hold a charge.

I have a similar situation. Patience is the only thing that will keep you from going crazy.
-
Not until you get to Sukhumvit, then it will be pretty backed up.
-
HI, thanks, but I'm looking for current info, not from 10 days ago, as I'll be going to the airport this weekend.

Hi all, is there any update on the parking problem? I need to fly out for a day and a half and would like to know if there is room to park. Thanks.
Changing jobs: is it possible to keep work permit or non-B for PR purposes?

Is this also the case if you're changing employers? I find myself in a similar situation, but will be changing jobs. Can I just go to my local office with new application and letter from employer? Does this also have to be on the same day, or different days? Or do I still need to go to Chang Wattana?
