  1. Correct. That was all the information I needed. I just wanted to know what was possible. Immigration rules are confusing, and I never want to find myself in a bad situation.
  2. I would be exiting and returning by air. Thanks!
  3. I have a USA passport. When my current visa (60 days tourst visa extended to 90 days) expires, can I leave Thailand and return on a 30 Day Visa Exemption without any problem? Seems like things are more liberal than policies of five years ago. Thanks in advance for the information.
  4. I have a question. Vaping was outlawed in 2014 in Thailand. Does this apply to vaping cannabis with a THC content lower than the 0.2% stipulated or does it just apply to e-cigarettes and such? Thanks! I am too old to to anything illegal, but I do know that vaping is the best and most efficient way to use cannabis for medical needs. Thanks in advance for your information.
  5. I am just about finished completing my evisa. I have a couple of questions. Since I am fully vaccinated, what should I submit for this question? #8 ASQ (Alternative State Quarantine) Hotel Reservation Confirmation I am fully vaccinated. Since this is no longer needed, should I just attach my vaccination documents to this question? I have already attached my hotel/accomodation information under "Place of Stay" on this form. Also, regarding this statement on the Thai Embassy website: 2.4 Proof of a round trip flight confirmation/reservation showing going from the US to Thailand and leaving from Thailand (The name of the applicant must be indicated clearly) In years past, I just demonstrated a paid ticket reservation out of the country (like to Singapore) and had no problems getting my 60 day tourist visa approved and eventually would get my 60 day visa extended to 90 days. How is that situation today? Thank you all for taking the time to respond. Merwan
  6. I am applying for a 60 day tourist visa and the website indicates with an underline that a roundtrip ticket purchase must be uploaded. I can do that, but do I assume that I can get the 30 day extension (90 days total) and buy my return ticket 90 days later or am I stuck with buying one 60 days after and then having to change it? Got me? Thanks for any comments. I appreciate it. Merwan
  7. Is it easy to extend your medical insurance once you are in Thailand? I am buying 60 days coverage due to a 60 day visa. Some companies do not allow you to purchase medical insurance once you are in the country of travel. I will hopefully extend my tourist visa another 30 days. Will I be stuck without insurance? Any comments?
  8. I have booked a one way ticket to Bangkok for both of us from the USA. Tell me if I am correct, please! I will enter my spouse's passport information in the computer using the Thailand passport information. Both passports will be submitted at the counter. The Thai passport will be used at the gate and for entry into Thailand. On the return the opposite will be done. The information entered into the return flight's computer entry will be the USA passport. Both will be submitted at the counter. The Thai passport will be used to move through immigration out of Thailand. The USA passport will be used at the gate and for entry into the USA. Thanks in advance for your help. Merwan
  9. I already know the answer, but I am checking because nothing in the world of travel seems to be normal anymore. I just bought a one way ticket to Bangkok, and I don't want to book the return yet. Can I still apply for a 90 day visa if I book (a real actual) one way ticket out of the country on day #90? Does anyone see any problem? Thanks in advance for your help in this matter. Merwan
  10. I will keep my fingers crossed for you! Let us know how it turns out. I have a suspicion that because of the QR code missing, it has to be inspected by a human instead of the software.
  11. Has any American had a problem with the USA Vaccination Card not having a QR code in getting the Thailand Pass? Rejected? Slow delivery? Thanks! Merwan
  12. Our USA Vaccination Cards (which are supposed to be the official document) do not have a QR code. Is this a problem in submitting for a 60 Day Tourist visa or for a Thai Pass? Thanks in advance oh wise ones! Merwan
  13. Yes, just as I suspected. If anyone else has any additional info, please feel free and post. Luckily, any ticket purchased on Japan Airlines (chosen airline) before December 31st of this year allows unlimited changes with no service fees (maybe change in fares but no service fees.) I will just book a return at 30 days and then change it when I get an extension. Merwan
  14. I am well aware of the November 1 entry requiements. As an American, I can stay without a visa for 30 days. In the past, I simply had this extended for another 30 days. Immigration never bothered me for showing up with the ability to legally stay in Thailand for 30 days with a ticket that showed my return home 60 days later. In fact, they never looked at my return ticket. I am just checking that this still holds under the present situation. Thanks in advanced for any responses. I hope I posed it correctly in the right place. Merwan
