  1. If there is a coup I'm sure the army will not make the same mistake they made in 2006 when Sonthi handed power over to Surayud who then appointed a very disappointing Cabinet.

If it is to happen again no doubt able figures such as Khun Anand will have been approached first regarding Cabinet posts.

Yeah, we need a collection of men in their late 80's early 90's to bring some new blood and ideas into the equation.

Thank you farang000999..thats says it perfectly. These people dont want anything to change.

  2. Your last post implys that you believe that nobody is financing these protest. Please inform me as to how its being funded

    I didn't imply anything.

You're the one who seems to have secret information about the ammarts and are making up all sorts of stories. Since you're so well informed, why don't YOU inform us and show us proof that the protests are being funded by 'Thailand's wealthier people'?

I believe this protest is being funded. Do you believe it is being funded. Stop dodging the question

Stop dodging my challenge to show proof.

Believe in UFOs all you want. Prove it.

Is this protest being funded. Yes or No ?

  3. No evidence ? cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Think about it and 2008 you think they had a whip round with the old hat ? qui bono, who benefits. You must be the only person in Thailand who dosn't see the elephant in the room. Read a bit on the history of coups and power plays here m8 please your embarrassing yourself.

Prove it. Seriously, you can laugh and insult all you want but people like you just post BS and blame everything on unseen and unnamed people but you have no shred of evidence whatsoever. Seriously 'm8', I dare you to post the proof here. Hell I double dare you.

If you can't, you're not adding to the discussion, you're just writing fiction and pulling 'facts' out of thin air.

I "double dare you" to tell me who, if anybody is funding these protests or is it just Sutheps love of doing the right thing

  5. My BS is based on the desperation of Sutheps backers who are on the brink of being pushed out of the trough for ever when Thaksin finds his true calling. If your family had been milking the system of billions for decades and it was all about to disappear how far would you go?

Oh look. More brilliant behind the scenes information about the evil 'ammarts' without any evidence. clap2.gif

So you believe Suthep is standing up there spewing vitriol without the backing of some of Thailands wealthier people. Thaksin will create his own amart

I believe it's easy to blame what's happening now on unseen and unnamed bogeymen without having one shred of evidence. It's always the case with you people. When you have nothing constructive to add, just blame the 'ammarts'.

What is Thaksin's "true calling"? And how does it stop "Suthep's backers" from continuing to milk the system?

Whybother I credit you with more sense than that.

Oh ... sorry ... you mean Dictatorship!

Maybe I should not be so generous with my credit in future

  9. Yellows killing yellows to crank it up. Only one side wants bloodshed and the army on the streets. Known tactic of previous yellow demos...toss in some ammo when you are not achieving your goals

It's so good to know that we are kept well informed by someone with such insight and personal knowledge.

I mean, the Reds would never do that would they?

    Troll.

Considering the current predicament of the PDRC, endless rallys achieving nothing, dwindling support, Sutheps rhetoric and the desperation of his financial backers I feel my comments are not far from the truth.

Only one side has anything to gain from bloodshed.

With men in black keep shooting the protestors, I would be hesitate to go to protest in the future. Yes only one side is gaining form bloodshed.

I dont agree with protestors being shot but this is the wild east and by trying to force your way into government building you are risking being met with deadly force at some point. Stop protesting and go form a political party with your millions of supporters and win enough seats to have the balance of power in a coalition government. If you achieve that then you can bring about the reforms you want.

If your 200,000 wants to give ups its vote, that is your right but 30,000,000 at this point want to vote. Its called democracy and if they want to vote in a corrupt politician it is their right.

Find a mirror. Look into it. Reflect upon the post you have just made.

Having a political view is one thing. Allowing it to blind you to reality is another.

Wow! backtonormal you know everything! This is one of the dumbest comments in I have read in TV.

Bunny11kk please be a good chap and explain why my comment is dumb and then tell me who you think fired the gun

  11. I was just wondering how long it will take the DSI to charge the caretaker PM with murder for the death of Wasu Chantabutr in yesterdays protest suppression operations.

After all what's good for the Goose must be good for the Gander.

The police yesterday like the army in 2010 would have been given orders from the top in writing. would make interesting reading

  12. Didn't the men in black 1st rear their heads during the 2010 demonstrations and International journo's were shot along with others? Hasn't Suthep again condemned international journalists for not supporting his cause? Personally I think this blackshirt thing has Suthep stamped all over it. I believe they are his personal creation to create havoc.

I am sure there is more than 2 on this forum who believe that "The Men in Black" were the creation of Suthep and Abhisit to discredit the Reds in 2010. How many journos were shot by the army?

  13. You're an idiot suthep. I think you and your thugs are using greater violence than the police and it is you and you alone who is itching for full on confrontation and not the government.

You are either blind or did not watch the live coverage of what happened yesterday.

All these protests have achieved very little. They can protest fro dawn to dusk but for what...Yingluck is going nowhere, Then ask who benefits from escalating the violence in a hope of rousing the army. The escalation, beatings and bullets are all coming from the Suthep Mob

    agree.

yingluck (Thaksin) isnt so stupid to use live bullets against the mobs. if the PT manage to stay calm throughout this incident. you can guess who will be the overall winner.

men in black on top of buildings: if there is a need of snipers, i m very sure thaksin's wealth is enough to get a "real" professional sniper to get rid of suthep/ mark.

If anybody is going to put one in Sutheps turnip ...its his backers...as a last resort to escalate violence. Suthep is the new Sondhi and look how many bullets ripped up his car. This movement is the PAD or the Pitak Siam Group etc..its the same backers with the same hard core fanatics just a new face to lead it. Suthep is expendable...which brings great relief to 40,000,000 Thais

  14. Now Thai people have lived under this 'corrupt government for 2 and a half years, in which time they can evaluate what is good for them. Also they have seen the peoples revolution gathering pace in Bangkok, if they still vote PTP back to power that is the 'real' peoples choice not the poxy 200k in Bangkok.

200k want to have this undemocratic council (friends of friends ) run the country for an unspecified period, maybe a decade, over an elected government who stand for a set term then you can vote them out again....are just dense.

Everytime Suthep starts talking he says something like Pee Nong na krap Pracha chun sounds like Suthep is trying to validate his existence by using those words. By linking his movement at every possible opportunity to a revered institution...which may confuse some of his 'educated followers'

  15. What reforms is Suthep talking about, there has never been anything real with any degree of substance mentioned. The elected government can ask the army but they will not do anything because guess who the silent backer of Suthep is. These demonstrators don't want elections or democracy full stop, they want full, absolute control of everything. Who in their right mind would demonstrate to block elections and support less freedom of speech and more restrictions across the board. power of a dictator is awesome to behold, he who knows whats best for all of us and if you don't go along with it, you may be killed as a traitor and laughed at. This fight is only about money and power for Suthep

JohnP... GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE SAND... it is not about Suthep.... Universities, Academic Bodies, Top Businesses, Chamber of commerce.. almost everyone with common sense knows what is happening in Thailand... What do you think the 2.2 trillion loan is for.. " The power of a dictator is awesome to behold" Thaksin wants this job... go look in the mirror... better to remain silent and let people think you are a knob...etc etc...

Agreed the money plays a big part but its not as signifcant as Thaksins future role outside of politics that will effect all those that oppose him now

"This fight is only about money and power for Suthep"

Suthep is the Army's puppet. This is about removing any populist leader, denying the majority a say in future elections, and returning the Bangkok elite to power.

If that were true, then the army could effect another coup. What are they waiting for?

They have been trying to incite violence, and hoped Yingluck would respond in kind. She exercised restraint and foiled their plan. The Thai media has been manipulated to say what they like...the world media has unfortunately reported the truth...much to their dismay.

They are waiting for the shit to hit the fan, or actually they are the ones flinging it.

The Army will continue to pull the strings on Suthep, incite more violence, allow more innocent people to die.....then say they have to step in.

The army are not the backers of this attempted uprising they are purely the muscle. The country needs to know who is financing this charade thats trying to deprive them of their democratic rights. Yes there is an Amart and yes it is faceless but the episode with the Singha heiress shows why they stalk in the shadows and try to run this country. Most of the Amart have successful businesses that rely on oiks buying their products, using their banks , travelling on their buses, using their concrete etc etc. How would their market share look ..lets say if all the Leo drinkers boycotted that particular brew and went to another beer. The Amart is alive and kicking
