  3. scott,

would you please put more flesh on the bones of this waiver you are talking about ? i havent the faintest idea as to what it is,well i have been teaching in thailand for almost two years, and i am a native speaker, i have got a non b, do you think i should take this exam for the extention of my non b? as it runs out in september, a friend of mine who i have known for over a year is in the same boat as me, the only difference is that he is not a native speaker!,

what do you think he should do?, do you think he should take the exam ?

many thanks in advance for your answers

  4. i think they should put more stress on their teachers rather than forcing us to sit for a teacher licence, all the english teachers working at my school have got their master degrees in english but none of them cant understand me or speak it as good as it should be

    kind regards

  6. Hello friends

I'm new here on this forum so please bear with me.

My question will be related to the work permit I have got, I'm a teacher, teaching at a thesaban school for a year, my work permit (and my visa) runs out on the 31st of October, which is the end date of my contract I signed up with my school a year ago. Well, now the municipality wants me to sign a new contract with them for two months, (August and September), asking me to come back in November and signing up another contract for a year, I believe they don't want to pay me in October, well my question is:

1- if I sign a new contract, which will be for two months, what;s going to happen to my work permit?

ps: my contract with the school is valid till the end of October, my work permit runs out on the 31st of Oct!

I would be very happy if one of you would put me in the right direction as to whit i shad do

    william
