Hello, I ordered a tablet worth 23,054 Bahts with Lazada and receive another item. I asked for a refund that has been validated (status = "refunded" the 9th of january 2023). 4 days later I still didn't get the money, I checked Lazada and it says that it depends on my "billing cycle". Then I chated with Lazada and they told me that they allready transfered the money to Khasikorn and that it depends on the "billing cycle" of my bank. I paid with my Khasikorn debit card, someone know how long I have to wait to be credited ? Another few days or week(s) ? Thank you.

New honda PCX 160: Where to buy ? (Pattaya)
Spellforce replied to Spellforce's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
I've just tried, it works: if the remote stays 4-5 meters away from the bike, the engine doesn't start. But... if I go away 2-3 meters, a thief can jump on the bike, start the engine and go ! Then even if the bike is further than 5 meters, the engine wont stop ! ???? Sorry that doesn't work with the PCX. Conclusion: the only 100% safe way to lock one PCX is to use the remote. -

New honda PCX 160: Where to buy ? (Pattaya)
Spellforce replied to Spellforce's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
Update: I finally purchased one PCX 160 with ABS at Mition last month (108k). I really love that new model, but there is only one thing that I dont like. When I stoped the bike, I have to stop the motor then... pick up the remote from my pocket, find the good remote and then press the "lock" button for 5 seconds, wait for the red color, and then wait another 2 seconds to listen the "bip" confirmation from the bike. Is there a way to quickly lock the bike without that remote ? -
Honda ADV 350 - First Picture ...
Spellforce replied to properperson's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
Yesterday I went to Mityon in Pattaya (corner Pattaya Tai / 3rd Road), the height of the bike might be an issue for my wife, she is 1m56. I would like to change my old PCX 150 to a new PCX 160 (available now, you have to book and wait 2-3 weeks) or a ADV 350 (available in april). Is it worth to wait for 1 month to test the height of the ADV 350 for my wife or not ? Or could she give a try now with another model ? For instance try to ride a Forza or a T-Max ? What bike has a similar size ? -

New honda PCX 160: Where to buy ? (Pattaya)
Spellforce replied to Spellforce's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
It looks like they raised the prices for 2 reasons: - the new 160cc models are new (less than 2-3 months) and will replace the old 150cc models = the pride to ride the last new model - Honda has some problems of production (electonic componants) -

@KhunLA I called them: 94,000 bahts without ABS, 103,000 bahts with ABS VS official retail prices 85,900 & 91,900 Bahts. -

I called them: 1118,000 Bahts !!! ???? -
I would like to replace my old Honda PCX 150. I did a search and apparently the new 2021 PCX are 160cc. Honda advertised the ABS model at 91,900 Bahts: ... but I called Mythion (Pattaya Tai, corner 3rd road) and they told me that this model is for sale at 107,000 Bahts... 15,000 bahts more than the official retail price ? What such a difference of price ? Where could I find that model with a good price ?

MOPH: Drinking alcohol increases risk of contracting COVID
Spellforce replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
... or will catch it (again), 100% sure because that virus will be with us forever. And better to catch it now rather than in 6 months or 1 year because: - Our vaccins wont be as efficient with time - Catch the virus today and you will be immunite for at least 24 months (and maybe forever and against any new variant) -
MOPH: Drinking alcohol increases risk of contracting COVID
Spellforce replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
And what about are the consequences in the long term of not stimulating our immunity system if we avoid any social contact? Lowering the immune system of 99% of the population who have nothing to fear from covid could have very serious consequences, much worse than covid. -
90 Days Bank Checking
Spellforce replied to GMajor's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Maybe someone as @ubonjoehas the answer ? Thank you ???? -
25th of August my mum did one year extension of her 50yo visa. Jomtien immigration gave her that paper: She would like to go tomorrow to the Jomtien Immigration office to do her 90 days notification + 90 days Bank Checking. For the 90 days notification, you can come 14 days before / 7 days after the date, so no problem. But for the 90 days bank checking, tomorrow is 18th november, can she come before the 22th november ? And if she can not, 22th november is monday (crowded), can she come a few days later, for intance friday 26th november ?

I did exactly the opposite: I was working in many unsafe countries for many years in Africa (but language was not a barrier as I can speak french, english and portuguese) and I choose to settle in Thailand 18 years ago. Even if was maybe one of the bigger "butterfly" in Thailand, I knew one thing: everybody ends with one woman and then your priorities change in your new "normal" life. What matters then is security, nice people, good infrastructures, hospitals, shopping malls, internet, schools for your children etc... I'm still really happy to have choosen to settle in Thailand.
