Doc.... you now know who my wife is..... you have probably heard the village gossip about these events...... God knows how bad that must be....... it's gone from bad to worse and now involves black magic, white magic and now I know what the term pussywipped into insanity means.
I should have followed your advice..... but at least I only got my fingers burnt and learn't a valuable lesson before it went too far.

You should talk to your wife, if you are serious about this.. Tell her again you are sorry, you realize what you did is wrong, and you'll never do it again (Again, if this is the situation you find yourself in.. oh, and you don't have to approach this as groveling.. just be a man about it). Then tell her, you won't put up with being hit again either. Ever. However long that takes to come to that understanding, you then agree to never bring this up again... it's over. Then start working on building trust and respect.

Never again will I find myself in that situation. You see, I thought I could live with it as it only happened occasionally, it was a mistake, I find if a women starts to get violent with you and you do nothing, she will eventually get more bold and out will come the weapons.

Yea, I am thinking about the Vigo, I have a Tiger 4WD at the moment, I think I would have to give my motor and 500,000 Baht for a Vigo 4WD 4 Door, about 860,000 if I remember right.
If I can justify that outlay is another matter though, at the moment i am still working overseas, so my pick up is covered up a couple of months at a time, maybe I will wait for next year when I finish up working so much.

Do you need one to drive say a honda 50.
My quick answer would be no, you don't need one.
The only problem would be if you caused some damage, but you can't do much on a 50cc bike.
I can't believe people are telling you not to bother, you wanna break the law, ok, if not, get a License, it's not difficult.
You are a Farang, you do not need any problems from the Police or to give them an reason to hassle you, and if you have no license, that will equal no Insurance too in the case of a fatal accident. Then you are in a world of Shi.t.

I had some big bikes in Thailand,
Honda 750

Suzuki 1400 Intruder
I used to give them all a real handful, especially away from the lights, fastest I went was about 220KPH, but things come at you so fast at that speed, it's difficult to keep it up for long periods, too much concentration needed.
It was Good fun and I went on a few great bike trips, Pattaya- Penang- Phuket- Pattaya, Pattaya- Chiang rai- Chiang mai -mae sai-Pattaya, Pattaya-Isaan tour-Pattaya, but now its 4 wheels and air con for me, 145 in the pick up maybe, but the guy in the Isuzu dealership reckons the new Isuzu Turbo will hit 190kph.

Virtually everywhere around Pattaya is already zoned and surveyed. Chanots are the norm for all land titles. Therefore any land if it really overlooks Pattaya should have a chanote land title. If its on a hill, odds are its government land or temple/wat land and I believe (but would stand corrected by someone with better direct knowledge) that this type of land is never sold. Sounds very suspicious to me and i'd be very very cautious.
What's a chanot?
Chanot is like deeds to land, its what you get when you register yourself as the land owner for a particular piece of land.

1 Year later I have had no problems and I would probably still get what I paid for it or very near if it was for sale.
