If it's been approved no need for the email, print off the approval if you want to, I don't bother
Thanks.

I did my 90 day report of address on 5/6/23 and after waiting 3 days for my approval email I decided to check the status of my application on the TM47 page only to see it had in fact been approved on the 6/6/23.Whilst I expect the email will turn up eventually my question is if it doesn't should I go to immigration in person before my due date just to confirm all is in order?I don't want a 2000 baht fine obviously.

For subsequent applications you don't need to manually fill in all your details.
Just type passport number and nationality and then click the looking glass icon. All the TM47 fields will then be completed for you.
Not forgetting to amend any details that might have changed since last time...

To my great surprise I received a reminder this morning at 1 am informing me my report will be due today 1st April 2023.....12 days after my my report had been approved!
Perhaps immigration now intend to send out last chance reminders rather than 15 days early reminders?

After seeing that list I think I'll stay with my retirement extension as long as I can afford to...

You also need to change the visa expiry date if you have extended your visa since last reporting..so check all the fields carefully.

Same here, but I have the 90day report online down on the calendar when I should apply so I did, no problem
Thanks.

Yes, same here. One of my colleagues reported the same. Just go back to the immigration site and report as normal. I plan to do that this weekend.
Thanks so it's a problem with immigration,I'll probably wait until Monday morning and report then.

I've been 90 day reporting successfully online since August 2022 and previously always received an email reminder exactly 15 days before my due date.Until now that is..I should have been reminded yesterday 17th March for my due date 1st April and nothing has come.I have checked my spam folder.Have immigration stopped sending out reminders? It's no big problem as I will just go ahead and do it after the weekend and still have the option of doing it in person.Just wondered if anyone else has failed to get the reminder?

I think you might be referring to the next day pick up of your approved extension.
That's not how the article reads and also you are not given a queue number to pick up your pp..all that is required is the number given to you the previous day and you have always just walked straight in for pick up usually 2pm.

There is a report on Pattaya expats newsletter that people wanting retirement extensions do not need to wait in the queue at the entrance but can go to the exit door where they will be given a number and allowed to wait inside.I am planning to go tomorrow to do this can anyone confirm this is in fact the case?

As above, just leave it blank. Be aware though, that your Thai bank may block an overseas CNP (card not present) transaction. Do check with your bank first as there are many options for allowing or blocking certain types of transactions on cards.
Thanks I will check with my Thai bank first.

Valid from date is not an authorisation requirement for online transactions. Simply leave the box blank (or enter an earlier date). The expiry date is the required info, without which, the transaction cannot be processed. The valid from is not checked.
You may well find that address verification and 3DS is required by merchants now as we've had it rammed down our throats (at great redevelopment cost) by the card industry to protect them from losses (they say it's for protection of cardholders but in reality it's to save banks losses as they always had to reimbuse card fraud). Now with 3DS (or 2FA) it makes online card fraud extremely difficult. It is up to us as merchants to set parameters and "valid from date" is not an option.
I wasn't thinking so much about online transactions as the UK passport renewal form which specifically asks for the valid from date presumably one could just leave it blank or enter an earlier date as you suggest.I wonder will UK banks follow suit and drop the valid from date?

I am in the same position as apparently many others are ie being taxed for an increase I do not get.Made a submission to HMRC thru the gateway site on 29/4/23 to this effect was given an estimated response date of 18/5/23.Still waiting for that their excuse is they are doing technical work on my submission or they are busier than normal.Hopefully this won't drag on too long..
