  1. Thanks OP - Could you please refresh my memory as to what the Marriage Registration Document is please - I dont recall being asked to produce that:

    Last year - I showed:

    Original and copy marriage cert

    Wife's ID signed copy

    Wife's house registration copy

Passport + Copy of photo page

    Thanks

    I'm not sure it's required.

The marriage registration document are 3 white pages given by the Amphur ( besides the colourful certificate with the hearts and roses)

I copied it and they kept it so thought I mentioned it, better be safe than sorry.

  2. Can you confirm you only had those documents with you, you did not need to show 400,000 baht in the bank in Thailand to get 1 year multiple entry visa? Assume this is the type where you have to leave the country every 90 days. Did you wife have to go with you?

Yes I can 100% confirm that, no need to show any proof of funds (doing the previous 3 visas there it was also never asked)

Yes, this is the type where you have to leave the country every 90 days.

    No. went alone.

  3. Koh Chang is nice papa, been there twice, true ( as far as I now) you can't make a full loop around the island, but plenty of nice views down the road.

Plenty of touristic things to do ( if you into that) elephants, waterfalls that sort of things.

Plenty of good (sea) food and places to enjoy a cool drink in the evening ( with or without company)

All the way down south were the roads stops there is a interesting landmark with a great view.A old riverboat " parked" into a resort.

  4. I can give a bit of advice on the last leg of you trip, I live in Buriram province and the main road ( the 24) through the province is quite congested during Songkran, On the 24 take a left to the 224 to Korat ( 2nd main intersection on the 24 chok chai) follow that and just before Korat city take a right to the 226 which will lead to Lam Plai Mat > Buriram. Around 20/30 more km's but roads less travelled then the 24. But no guarantee how this is during Songkran though. Good luck.

  5. Thanks. I guess no way to get a list of bike models it would plug and play with like it shows on that other site?

I'll have a look under the seat of my bike in a day or two and see what things look like for installed relays.

    No list.

On a cbr 250 the winker relay looks like this:
