  1. The user-facing part of TP system is definitely poorly designed, and is a step back compared to even the CoE website (no code to proactively track status, no PDF support, misconfigured backend server resulting in CORS violations). I suspect that TP service as it is now was retooled from earlier effort to set up automated vaccination status notarisation for certificates issued by other countries. In that regard, it actually might be working well, seeing how some people appear to be getting their submission processed really fast. On the whole it seems to be a system that's actually designed to handle a decent volume of requests, unlike COE, which is basically just a way to submit papers for another human to review. Yes, TP requires payment confirmation.
  2. My passport has series (the first two digits) & number separated by a space as is, so I just put that in.
  3. Backend is running on and off intermittently. If IT-inclined, you can peek at the request being sent and resend that manually until you are lucky to get a server response. Otherwise, wait/resubmit form again until it works. Note that some requests can get stuck registered but not processed correctly, and you'll get blocked from submitting a request with same passport number again, I've had to add a space into mine to get things moving again. This system is a disaster.
  4. Same as visa requirements already work for connecting flights. Airline staff would check visa requirements for final destination and for any transfers if they require going out through passport control and checking in again. It's not like thai embassies have a reliable way to check if vaccination has really been done either.
  5. I wouldn't necessarily vote for thaielite, but sticking PE visa at Chaengwattana is an option. From an old instructions letter: Staying in Thailand, you can affix Elite Visa at immigration Bureau Chaengwattana in Bangkok. - Member who hold tourist visa, exempted visa or visa upon arrival have to book service 5 working days in advance for making the appointment with customer contact center. - Member who hold non-immigrant visa, visa cancelation must done at immigration where visa was issued and do 7 days extension. Then, you could contact customer contact center for making the appointment to get Elite visa during this period. - Member, who hold non-immigrant visa was issued from oversea, must leave country and could affix Elite Visa at Suvarnabhumi Airport. **Some nationality is required visa to enter Thailand** Arriving in Thailand, member could affix Elite Visa at Suvanabhumi, Phuket and Chiang Mai International Airport. For connecting flight, we strongly require at least 4-5 hours gap between the next flights.
  6. I bought the 20-year plan. Purchase was a technical mess but after that it's been pretty smooth sailing. Fasttrack through immigration is nice, having free miracle lobby access in BKK is also nifty if you don't have other ways to get in for free. Thaielite people will walk you out through customs on arrival, but there isn't exactly a fastrack through there. I always go through the green corridor though. Not sure how it's implemented in practice but they've tightened down the rules a while ago so that any airport fasttrack does not apply to your companion, which is rather awkward. I occasionally drop my passport with them for 90-day reports when online service is down, works fine as you'd expect. Outside of Bangkok, I believe they only have offices in Chiang Mai, Pattaya and Phuket. As others said, onward flight is a visa-exempt requirement, it's typically not needed for any entry with a visa, including thaielite one. Business seems to have been brisk for them this past year, there was over a hundred 90-day report passports waiting to be picked up back in April.
