  1. 3 tests are in English, one is in Thai, so I believe I am sitting 3 of the tests, I assume you are doing the same? https://file.thaijobjob.com/prakad/ksp202211/ksp202211_15 https://file.thaijobjob.com/prakad/ksp202211/ksp202211_13 https://file.thaijobjob.com/prakad/ksp202211/ksp202211_11
  2. My thoughts exactly! The 'test blueprint' is on the ksp website where we registered but it doesn't give much scope for what exactly we need to revise. I am going to try and see if I can find out more this weekend, please let me know if you find anything! I figured I may as well give this test a try so that even if I fail at least I will know better what to expect next time round.
  3. Payment has worked now. Has anyone else registered for it?
  4. Has anyone managed to register for this? The payment still isn't working for me >.<
  5. As above. You have from now until the end of the month to register for it. Please let me know on here if you have successfully registered! I am currently trying but the payment isn't working.
  6. It was announced today that the exam will be on 24th and 25th December and registration is now open to take the test in one of 9 locations. Happy Christmas.
  7. Hello, I have heard from a few people at different schools that there may be a December TCT professional knowledge exam with the application process opening in November. At the moment nothing has been posted on the KSP website, but if anyone hears any details or updates please can you post them here? I will do the same. Many thanks ????
  8. Looking on their website they still appear to be going ahead as usual. As far as I am aware everyone (that has completed their education qualification) is still in the same position as before - waiting for the next KSP exam.
  9. Yes I was informed that there might be a second test later on this year, but I'm yet to hear more. I'm nearing the end of my 4th waiver now having stupidly wasted the first two when I wasn't aware of the KSP waivers/rules/the impact it would have. My 4th waiver expires early next year, so hopefully I'll have sat and passed the exam by then, if not, I guess we will find out. It's not much fun being in this position of constant worry that's for sure.
  10. As far as I am aware you need: A year of full time study in education from an accredited university (diploma or postgrad). Then you can apply for the TCT exam which is annually in February by the looks of it, unless you completed your study pre-2019, in which case you don't need to sit the exam and can apply immediately. If anyone knows if this has changed again please let me know!
  11. I'm so sorry for your friend and her husband. I don't really have any words of advice but wanted to say that you are so wonderful and kind for being there. Honestly, I think that is all you can do is be there for her, and perhaps encourage her to speak to someone about what she is going through, a licenced therapist perhaps? I have seen them online but of course be mindful and check reviews before choosing one. Thank you for being such a good friend, everyone needs a friend like you in hard times like these.
  12. Hello, Does anyone know if there is a list of private/bilingual schools that I can access? My daughter currently attends an international school, and while it is great, I am starting to become concerned about her Thai language so considering transferring her to another school with a stronger emphasis on Thai. Is there a website or somewhere I can access with a comprehensive list? I've already read through a few older threads in this forum but not quite found what I am after yet ???? Thank you
  13. Oh wow. I was told that they are thinking of setting the exam twice a year. Fingers crossed that is the case. I work at an international school and we still need the teachers licence, it's only universities, language centres and higher education (sixth form/college) which are exempt I believe.
  14. Did anyone here manage to get a place on this exam? My school applied but then they asked for lots of additional paperwork which I obtained within a day or two of being asked but by the time my new application was submitted it was too late for the exam. Devastated! Apparently there might be another one this year, but I doubt it.
  15. Hah. Yes. The subdistrict where my husband is from gave me a ridiculously long list of requirements including 10 witnesses - I kid you not, TEN!
  16. The rule changed unfortunately. I have a PGCE in Education. Anyone who qualified post-2019 now has to sit the Khurusapa proficiency examination in addition to their postgraduate degree to obtain the 5 year permit. There hasn't been a test all year, so I am sitting and waiting for the next examination.
  17. Thank you so much - I do have a friend in mind who owns a condo in Bangkok, I might try and see if I can get a yellow book attached to her address then. I will certainly read that topic - thank you very much! Have a great day ????
  18. Yes, this is why I would prefer to have a yellow book based in Bangkok, it would certainly make the whole application process a lot easier. If I wanted to get a yellow book with a friends address in Bangkok, would I do the TM30 in Bangkok to say I am residing at their address, get the documentation, then update the TM30 back to my address once the yellow book is done?
  19. Oh that's very useful to know, thank you so much. I want a yellow book so that I can apply for citizenship.
  20. Thanks - is this possible if my visa is tied to Bangkok immigration? I wouldn't transfer my visa back to NST.
  21. Yes, I think most landlords will be reluctant to help me get the yellow book, hence why I was thinking it would make more sense to get my yellow book attached to my husbands blue book in NST... but I don't know how I could do this if I am residing in Bangkok as the amphur in NST say I need the letter of residency from immigration, which won't state my address in NST... any ideas? ????
  22. I would actually prefer to be on a Blue Book in Bangkok, but my landlord is reluctant to let me, and I plan on moving house in 5 months time... If I was able to persuade my landlord in Bangkok, is it easy to transfer to another address in Bangkok if I was to move?
  23. Hello, I completed my postgraduate degree in December 2020 and applied for the 5 year permit in January 2021 and was then informed about this test.. I don't think that there has been one all year, so I am just waiting for khurusapa to announce it although some study materials in the meantime would be useful. If you hear anything please do update us here. Many thanks
  24. Hello everyone, has anyone heard any updates from Khurusapa?
  25. Hi! Sorry only just saw your post! Hope you are enjoying your studies! Still in the same position - waiting for Khurusapa to announce the next examination! If you hear anything please let me know ????
