Update from this week
On Wednesday I went to the Royal That Embassy to apply for a Non-Imm-O Visa.At 8:35 about 20 people lined up in front of me already. The gate opened 9:00 sharp. Maybe 12 applicants were asked to come back later due to their high queue number. The electronic queue system is still not working.
Around 9:15 it was my turn and I handed in all of the required documents.
Not mentioned on their website and new for me was that the officer wanted to see a rental contract. Well prepared, I offered to show my chanot as the owner of a condominium, what he didn't want to see.Pickup Friday, yesterday 14:00, within 10 minutes.
Another thing to mention is that they will not give any receipt that you handed in your passport. 'I don't know about Laos police...'
I have been traveling by train inside Laos and experienced problems with the entrance security of the railway. Finally they let me pass with a copy of my passport with Laos visa only.-

14 days ago I registered myself as an owner of a condominium.
Today, after coming back from abroad, I informed online over the website that I myself am moving in.
All went smooth.

All correct. For example for Laos you woild need to enter the country with your US passport to apply for a NON-IMMIGRANT “B” VISA .

I intend to switch my current passport to a brand new and empty passport at Vientiane Airport and apply for a Non-Imm-O visa at the Thai embassy. In Thailand I'm staying on the EoS based on retirement.
My current passport needs to be renewed and therefore it needs to travel up to three months. I have dual citizenship.Should I expect any problems?

It's on Khao Noi between the train tracks and Top supermarket (same side). And there's a 2nd sofa repair shop just about 20 meters up the hill from the one shown.
I used them too. They picked up the sofa at my home and delivered it again after two days.

Recently I have been very happy with S.P. Service on Naklua Road.
They picked up my about 12 yo, broken refrigerator and lented a spare refrigerator for the repair time. After 4 days me refrigerator came back repaired. Total price 2,150 THB.Kindly PM me for phone numbers or is it appropriate to post them?

The App 'OTT-Navigator' installed on the box and BTW on the cell phone as well. Free accounts are available over Telegram. Just look there for IPTV and STBEMU and you will find some mostly Turkish groups that publish 'free' accounts.
This together gives an experience of 6000-11000 smooth running world wide channels, including Pay-TV and video on demand. All free.
A fast internet is mandatory if you want to watch the 4 or 8k streams.

I once had a quiche made with puff pastry at Metz / Loraine. Delicious and obviously authentic.
Since then I use it too for my home made quiches as the dough.
Available at many stores here, Siambury's might be the cheapest.
I'm adding cheese, sour cream, egg, some onions, a little garlic, some ham and cover it with bacon. Bake it until the bacon on top becomes crispy.

Northpoint - You need to know a co-owner there
Centara Grand Mirage - Not cheap and fully booked in the afternoon
Pattaya Interclub - Quite far away. You will need transportation
Royal Cliff
Dusit Thani and Siam Bayshore have each just one acceptable court left, but not comparable to the ones I mentioned before.
My advise is to take a lesson with a recommended coach first who might rate your level and find a group for you.

So this morning I called Banglamung hospital and they advised me to return to the place.
I did. Very polite service and they apologized for entering a wrong ID at the registration. Now I'm holding a stamped certificate and the vaccination is also shown in Morprom.
BTW the certification counter is located outside on the left hand side from the exit.

The Thai-Chinese family owners are said to own most of the land in Naklua. With the T21 it was the first land that thy sold.
