Hello TV,
I am currently on a 90 day Non Immi B visa (single entry) from which i received in Penang.
The visa is valid until mid November, however, i have to leave the country next week, for a few days,
and i am under the impression that when i do leave it will be 'used'.
Is there any way of obtaining a re-entry stamp/permit (I am in Bangkok) to allow me to come back into Thailand on this visa?
Thanks in advance
Stephen

Dear TV guru's,
I am travelling to Shanghai for a leisurely trip, and my plan whilst in Shanghai was to obtain a non b 90 day visa.
I have a friend who is a Shanghai resident (Chinese citizen) who i got to call the local consulate on my behalf, and inquire.
The consulate informed her that they only issue visas (non B AND tourist) for people who are citizens of China or hold Chinese residency permits.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Seems a bit odd to me.
Thanks,
Stephen

Hi all,
Can anybody recommend a Bangkok based Visa + Work Permit company/agency who can help assist with the renewal of these documents.
Thanks in advance!

TV Guru's,
Having a slight problem. My 1 year Multi entry visa got refused in Penang on the grounds that i do not have enough months validation left on my WP. basically you need 8 months minimum, i have 5.
The guy at the consulate told me that i can extend my WP. I have inquired into this, and like most things in Thailand, i could not get a straight answer.
Can anybody shed some light on this, can you extend your WP?
Thanks in advance.

I have done Australia initially. And then 2 Penangs as i was living in Phuket and that was convenient. I am now based in Bangkok, so unsure of what is the local consulate/embassy to get a 1 year non B M.
Does Singapore not even do 1 year Multiple any more?
My WP will have 6 months left on it when i am renewing, was never an issue past 2 years in Penang.

So whats the most convenient location to obtain a non B 1 year multi entry from Bangkok, cost effective at that?
I mean outside of Thailand.

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me if you can obtain a non immi B one year multi entry in Phnom Penh.
If so, what is the processing time?
Thanks in advance...

Hi All,
Looking to invest in some health insurance. Im based in Bangkok, and after a weekend of sport, i witnessed 2 team members suffer injury's that required
hospital treatments.
Can anybody give me a recommendation for something that will cover me for basic accidents?
I pay into a social security fund, which does offer public hospital health care, im not too sure to what extent though.
I also believe that Banks do offer health care?
Thank you all in advance.

Well i think it is good to inform people about what is going on as many people want to know, i am just using this forum to inform. If this is bad and the negative people want to post silly things, then up to them..
Forums are to keep people informed.
Here Here. The negativity on some of these forums is appalling. There should be a grumpy old mans forum.
Thanks for the post all the same.

Why do you make this any concern of yours. The Thai government has people to take care of these things. If they do not, it still is no concern of yours.
I doubt very much its a concern, i also doubt Chappie 1207 is loosing any sleep over this. Its an interesting notice, seeing a farang working in an immigration center. There are obviously reasons why and how this farang is working at the center, but sometimes, just sometimes, curiosity does get to some of us..

Agreed. Unfortunately most 70 year olds have a chip on their shoulders towards teenagers.Someone 70 years old should know better than to confront a teen.
The outcome was never going to be favorable.
So its ok then for a teen to hit his car? Would you also like back up with some facts regarding 70 year old having a chip on their shoulder regarding teenagers. Maybe you have the said chip on your shoulders about old people. No its obviously not OK for the kid to hit the car, what happened before that though? What words were said? What made this kid hit the car? He didnt just do it, come on...
Fact : "Children should be seen and not heard" Quite a famous saying used by elders. It was also stated to me an "english gentleman" in a popular club in Bangkok that he wished
kids were not part of the club.
Now, can you base FACTS on me having a chip on my shoulder towards old people? FACT you cant because its a FACT that i dont have a chip on my shoulder towards old people
because its a FACT that i am renowned for helping assist with elderly people back in my community and its a FACT that its in my family that we assist with elderly people in a group
called age action.

A ridiculous idea!
Its probably an easier route to tag the local mafia players or people who have been arrested for previous crimes, not the holiday maker!!

OK, that's interesting.
The re entry permit, how much longer will that grant me on my visa, until its original expiry date, being mid November?
