  1. Of course it's going to hurt not only Western tourists, long term Expats but more important the vast majority of Thai people. Does the Bank of Thailand care one iota?? Yeah when pigs fly. Calls from all sectors of the Thai economy to reign in the artificial strength of the Baht have fallen on deaf ears and will continue to do so until this house of cards comes crumbling down at their feet.

  2. Never have reported an out of province journey, never have presented my passport when checking in at a hotel use only my drivers license and never had a problem Thai Immigration. I will not comply with a law than on its face is a joke, let them fine me that 1600 Baht if they even catch my law breaking escapades.

  3. As this most innane and useless topic continues to have legs I will add my own bit of stupidity.  As July 14 is Bastille Day and on the 15th France plays in the final of the World Cup I have started putting red, white and blue bunting on my beloved Xmax to celebrate these great occassions.  Viva La France.

  4. Been using them for 16 months and not one single problem. As a matter of fact it seems my transfers are arriving quicker, some within 24 hours, perhaps due to how many times I use their service.

  5. Order some sink bombs from Amazon, get a sling shot and when this ar..sehole starts up with his antics again simply fire two or three at a time in his direction.  These little tubes shatter on impact and the smell will drive him inside. If you are able, aim for him gear and that will guarantee he won't be using it for quite a while.  Stay out of sight and repeat as often as necessary until he learns his lesdon.

  6. The very best???  If you are mobile, nearby, or dont mind driving/riding then the newly opened gym at Central Festival Mall is light years ahead of anything else in Chiang Mai.  Opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 11 p.m.  A full range of equipment, four sections with various machines, weights dedicated to that section.  The locker room and showering facilities are the best I have seen by far.  Great staff, great choice of individual programs.  The kicker???  It aint cheap but as they say you get what you pay for.  High 2K baht to 3K plus per month, there are yearly memberships available that reduce your fees with automatic deduction from your bank account. Once you go there to check it out you will be blown away.

  7. As reported today in the Bangkok Blab, sorry Post those twa..ts who killed that girl and cut up her body in Khon Kaen will be cited for using social media in court during their trial.  <deleted> is wrong with this country??? FIrst off these retards are housed in the Graybar Hotel and should not even have access to a mobile phone but somehow they arrive in court and start posting as their trial continues.  How did they manage to accquire the mobiles, who turned a blind eye to this???  What a joke, almost everyday we read how really screwed up Thailand is.

  8. Another double-decker bus crash, a needless loss of lives once again and all we get from the Thai Transport Ministry is more pablum from their gobs.  Year after year this carange happens and it's always the same B...S... from these clowns.  Does anything get done??  Of course not this is Thailand after all and the ja..ck offs who own these bus companies that continue to hire drug users, put faulty buses on the roads are so well heeled that they can throw money at those trying to make much needed change.  Nothing will ever change in Thailand, stupidity and lack of decency and common sense are too ingrained in them.

  9. You are being serious or just having a go with us???  First off, a racing horse???  That would be a thorobred or a quater horse shipped to Thailand for what purpose???  Surely you cant be that daft to think you could actually race it in Thailand.  The shipping cost for a single horse would be at least 15K to 20K from the U.S. and that's assuming you could find a horse transport company willing to do that.  Since this is Thailand you would have to put the horse in a Thai's name to even stand a chance to ever see it on a racetrack.  As for winning a race, good luck as here in Thailand it's who is the biggest fish in the race that predetermines the outcome of every race.  Bottom line, you were having a go and have more brains that to try doing this folly.

  10. After seeing 13, 13 mind you, pages of this dribble I thought I would add my two Baht.  Today I told my Xmax how much I loved him and as a special treat I said I would take him for a bath.  He has been very good to me, even got me layed as young lovely on Loi Kroh Road said how much she liked him and that also I was a hansum man.  I say good morning and good night everyday and make sure he is out of the elements.  He returns all this by providing me with a great ride every time.

  11. First of all, what the hell is advanced fast track???  Back to the topic, it seems that this time it's Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak who has opened his gob and inserted his foot by claiming that Thailand who are on this advanced economy fast track will be signifcantly transformed in three to four years.  One thing I do agree with Somkid on, in three or four years the Thai economy will be a lot different.  That's because it will have collapsed once again.  Household debt is steadily rising, bad loans are the same, inflation is slowly eating away at the meager salerys of Thais, with the Baht being manipulated by the Bank of Thailand overall exports are declining and with the exception of Asian tourists the number of well heeled tourists from the West is falling.  Thailand is on an advanced fast track, right to Palookaville.

  12. I am shocked, shocked I tell you that such a thing is gong on.  How could these sweet lovely Thai welfare recipients game the system like this and not be ashamed??  Here's the deal, if these lovely Thais agreed to go to training classes they would get more welfare money than those who opted to not go.  Guess what happened???  They did not go and got the additional money with nothing to fear.  Just another example of how inept the Thai government is.  God I love this country.
