  1. hi, is your dog the husky on your avatar? huskies tend to get skin problems. my advice is to inject ivomec (at the vet - 1ml for 15kg bodyweight) two times in two weeks intervall and see if it improved. if yes, then give ivomec monthly. don't shower your dog as this is not good for skin, keep him dry. try to give him raw beef whenever you can and less dry food, if then good brand. please start with treatment now. good luck :)

  2. thanks churchill and poorsucker, am so worried, not eaten since yesterday afternoon and then out there alone in the rain and scared to death of everything. she does not know anything outside from our home :( tomorrow i will go look again.

  3. joy, female, ran away this morning at sp vet clinic vaguely opposite bangkok airways office. she was scheduled for surgery and is probably still wearing the white plastic collar and a harness. joy is very shy with strangers please don't try to catch her but offer her food. if you see her pls call 0813670670

thanks, for getting her back a reward is offered.

  4. good advice from charivari. usually it is not only one bloodparasite and almost always they got babesia too which can only be detected with good microscope. babesia the worst in my experience and of course it is worse i more bloodparasites, also anaplasmosis very common. as you say, even after long treatment the symptoms can come back later and still kill the dog, so always check and give supplements. if ticks infested your house, spray and inject dogs with ivermec twice in 15 days distance to kill offspring. dogs who go for walks prone to carry home ticks every day, it is a never ending battle :(

  5. always be on the spot with tick prevention - ivermec and/or spot-ons, the chance of getting blood parasites is largely reduced. the first stage of ticks where they are extremely tiny you cannot find them and they can get fully sucked without you noticing. check at vet if you suspect, as if in progressed stage where liver and kidney are already affected it might be too late.

  6. they are beautiful and look very well taken care of. huskies love to be outdoors and to run and play, be with their pack but of course also have time and love with their owner. why don't you give or build them a run outside and have them neutered, it would make them able to be with other dogs and they won't get pyometra. as you said food is not a problem, it seems the best solution as you surely know well how to take care of them :)
