One more time ryan, just for you!

Income tax in every country is assessed annually, that's when you do the summing up and make the tax calculation.

Everyone is entitled to a 60k per YEAR tax deduction, plus, everyone over age 65 years is entitled to a 190k per YEAR tax deduction. In addition, the first 150k of income on the Thai tax tables is zero rated, that's the first 150K per YEAR. When all is said and done, the average over 65 year old pensioner will be entitled to over 400k in tax free money per YEAR. Please tell me you got that!

Would you know where to get an English version of taxable income vs income doc. I get pension but I need to supplement from my savings.

I can imagine the paperwork that all this will generate... not that I am not used to it.

Counterintuitive but I recall from my misspent youth that a cold beer always seemed to work wonders probably through the depressive effect of alcohol taking the edge off the panic.  But it probably depends on your particular tolerance to cannabis and alcohol. Fruit, vit c and stuff didn't make any difference but a hot shower was good.  Your mileage may vary.

Eating it is somewhat dangerous because the effects are unpredictable, when you didn't do the dosage yourself and build up from a small dosage.

Not to mention what chemicals may have been sprayed on the plants. I would not think the buds were washed ????. Unless one knows the source, don't eat it.

Has anyone a clue why GOD would say this to me, an inveterate celibate?

What do you think He meant?

Has GOD ever said the same to you?

If so, then what did you do?

After GOD spoke to me, I checked my Bible.

The only reference half-way applicable to what was commanded of me by GOD, yesterday, seems to be this:

How can GOD ask this of me, I have been wondering.

    Surely He knows my limitations.

What would YOU do, if you were I?

Thank you for any help, forthcoming from YOU.

    Are you superstitious?

Why do they have to be so skin tight? Especially in this climate. Look like they are made of some synthetic material as well, so must be really hot to wear. Are they designed that way? Or is it a "police fashion that they all seem to choose a size smaller? Even the fat ones.

A bit of day-glo might make them more visible at dusk as well. It is possible to buy reflective materials in fluorescent colours so it serves two purposes.

e.g. That white armband in fluorescent green reflective would be much more effective.

The traffic police in the UK are almost impossible to miss in almost any conditions. Their cars motorbikes and uniforms are covered in the stuff.

Exactly. Who would design something like that? I

Dark uniforms against a dark background at night is not going to increase safety. Missing reflective material on helmets and uniforms.

    wow - that's not good.

tbh tho i'm surprised electrocutions are not more common here, the wiring is a joke.

They are quite common. Although different people are affected differently depending on body chemistry, grounding conductivity and the path the current flows through.

The main problem is due to incompetence. And this can be see across all trades. Suing will not fix that.

look at the bunch of wire above the pipe

Not sure if where the problem was as it does not appear to contact anything.

But definitely sloppy work. And an exterior connection to top it off. Electrical tape and exposed.

Seen too many of those in my years here... many stories. For instance at a major shopping mall that I cannot name, Xmas light strings wrapped around an exterior metal stair ramp with taped connections between strings. Total incompetence.

The problem here is is the increasing number of vehicle owners who spray paint their license plates white, in order to avoid detection by camera's. It's a prolific and obvious problem that nobody seems to care about, some of the abuse is so blatant with owners saying the black paint peeled off, not that the plate was painted white...horse poo..

In fact the black paint does slowly disappear. So not painted white. I received a notice by mail that I was to go to the licence bureau to get a free replacement set of plates. Strange thing is that only the rear plate lost the black paint.

  8. Same here. GF and I had 2 AZ and were due for a booster. She got a Pf booster shot today. Checking for me she was told only Thais can get it.

So it appears to me that unless you managed to reserve and pay for the Moderna shot several months ago, you are out of luck.

I'm starting to get scared of this Nov. 1st opening date.

Too much hopes are being given despite very little odds of success.

I think not many tourists will come to Thailand at least not until the next high season.

Do many Thai people actually believe something will change on Nov. 1st 2021?

With what is happening in Russia I would expect some here.

In the post there was no mention of not using their phones while driving. Most are constantly on it.

The funny thing is that we see the 700 baht departure tax + the 300 baht entry tax now (total 1000) as something outrageously Thai... but it is quite common for different countries to have these hidden fees that most people never see and never know about... (just the names differ).  Australia has a $45AUD tax for international flights out, Canada has up to a $45 Airport Improvement Fee (depending on airport you exit from),  UK has a fee that ranges from £13 and £194 (depending on class etc.).  If it makes you happy the Thai government could just call it a 1,000baht movement fee like Australia does (and the details of what it is for are buried in the budgets).

Agree with this but the problem is the timing.

Tax now and get little return as there are no tourists and fewer still on a tight budget.

this property and those cars can be seen on googlemaps and even on satelite images, but because it was clean money nobody ever questioned how an officer on max 80k per month can have this house and that many cars.

Actually, there were all together 29 cars at his garage.

I would think he has many houses and many more cars. Land papers. Bank accounts. Secret safes and walk-in vaults.

    In his name.

In name of his parents, siblings, cousins, girlfriends.

But not as much, as his superior in chain of command

All those cars were borrowed from a friend.
