Not too difficult ( in theory ). Much of the problem is about lifestyle choices. Eat as many fresh foods as possible and as few processed foods as possible or any 'empty' calories. With a very few medical exceptions, fat people eat too much .

The Chinese tourist situation has little to do with cannabis, flu in China, tourist deaths, reduced flights, etc., as some people suggest.
" It's the economy, stupid ". A comment that appeared during the 1992 US presidential election.
The Chinese economy is in a bad way ( same for many countries world wide) and the effects are felt most by that section of society who join group tours. Also, unemployment amongst the young, is high in China, which restricts the travel instincts of the younger, solo traveller.

China is experiencing the same 'cost of living' problems as many other countries, and there is considerable unemployment.
Most Chinese tourists visiting the Kingdom have done so in group tours. They are not rich Chinese. The rich, who are not affected by the Chinese economic downturn, will continue to visit the Gulf states:... UAE, etc.
Thailand is seldom a destination of choice for the better off .....( from any country).

We are fortunate in most western countries that we have a free (-ish) press and News media.
The majority of Russians only have access to the 'Putin' version of the news. They have no access to uncensored News.
You cannot blame people for not knowing what they don't know. A vast number of the Russian population is desperately poor, and their main concern is to scrape a living. ( 1 in 5 don't even have access to an indoor WC ).
Those who are able to access other world media, and are educated to be able to read languages other than Russian, have differing opinions, which they must keep to themselves under pain of state attention.
Hence the influx of 'rich' Russians 'holidaying' abroad ?

If I was in the situation that many Russian men are in, I am sure I would be considering to relocate, if I had the resources.
What about the young men from poor backgrounds who have no option but stay in Russia ?
They have not chosen their political leaders.
