I would look for someone who specialises in making shirts!
I have a very good tailor who made several suits and trousers for me; top quality in terms of fabric, style and finishing. However they also offered shirt making, which I tried once. It was rather disappointing... The collar was way too stiff and the quality of the (cotton) cloth was mediocre.
I found the selection of suitable cloth (with the right weave and style) for dress shirts seems very limited and a bit old fashioned.
As said, unlike the high-end woolen (cashmere-like) cloth woven in Italy that I have been offered for my suits here, all the cotton cloth for shirts I have seen in Bangkok (Sukumvit) was rather unsatisfactory.

insist that you can call for a consular or embassy representative of your country.
Hard to imagine that any official from the British embassy would turn up, if you ever get to talk to them on the phone. ????

must still show up in person to verify their identity and get a visa sticker at the main IB office
Since when are stickers issued for visa extensions? Currently there are outdated stamps with a signature and legible handwriting about the type of extension.

the new process will reduce application process times from one hour to three minutes
One hour, currently?
Truth is that (without bribing an officer to get fast-tracked) one usually spends about six hours at the IO to get one's extension. ????

It's a mistranslation of a legal term. It means that 60,000 people were questioned by police officers.

What type of investment vehicle by the government?
Found the answer:
Government bonds, real estate funds, infrastructure bonds, or real estate investment funds
None of these guaranty a return; they might be worthless or unsellable after three years.
Another catch is that this option is only available to Long Term Resident (LTR) visa holders. Which means when the visa has expired they may not be able to enjoy their property.

A distinctly separate investment of THB 40m for 3 years in Thai government funds gives you the right to buy 1 rai of land.
After the stipulated investment holding period of 3 years, this THB 40m in Thai government funds is returned and the land remains yours.
What type of investment vehicle by the government?
What investment in the Thai market would guaranty a return?

With the number of guns out there on the streets, and the rarity of an incidence like this, it sounds a bit OTT.
It will mean guns at schools, more guns to be stolen.....????
You might be surprised, gun-related deaths per capita in Thailand is higher than in the US.

You might find this useful: https://designingidea.com/acacia-wood-vs-teak/

One of the consideration about the types of wood for a desk should be the looks. Teak will look very different than rubberwood or even acacia.
Another consideration should be whether you are working with the wood yourself or merely placing a ready cut board on an existing frame. Hard woods like teak (but also acacia) would require more skills to work with and tools that are in very good conditions.
Finally a minor consideration is durability of an indoor desk. If you are trying to make a heirloom piece for your great grand children go for teak. Otherwise it's probably not so important what you chose.

Something doesn't add up here.
This is a straight forward case of burglary and trespass. With the former being a major criminal offence.
The perpetrator should be brought in front of court of law and sentenced accordingly. Police should have a duty to initiate proceedings on these criminal matters. Discussions about compensations should follow afterwards or in a separate civil case.
