Whilst I don't know the expat community in the city mentioned, i have lived/worked in Isaan for the last 18 odd years. Most people here are either (mainly, not 100%) retired or younger teachers. I would suggest that most will not care that he is gay, but what might give him more trouble, is that he is 'extroverted' because some might have different takes on that and see it as rude, unfriendly, overpowering because they are quiet people (of any gender).
just my two-penneth!

Why all the secrecy?
The OP is asking about dentists. Lots of other members viewing. If they are viewing, they are interested in the conversation and outcome.
Why can't dentist details be posted on the open forum?
It was a reply to his PM to me. No secrecy.

In a country where nobody can fail and where promotions are bought. This is all just window dressing IMO!

Yes the Farang Connection was in Surin near bus station. Last time I was there it had a rival opposite called Green Mango.
Both were nice places.
There WAS also The Oasis Bar, both now gone and owners are in the great bar in the sky!!!

There was a Farang Connection in Surin many years ago (near to the Bus station and Majestic Hotel). The owner, Martin died many years ago (maybe 14 years) and the place then closed.

Thats a bit of bad timing because Royal Enfield Thailand will be having a second "REUNION" meet, specifically for Isaan in about a months' time. I am not aware of any RE dealerships closing.

If one has already married, then divorced in Thailand (and all documentation held), do you still have to go through the hoops again a second time to remarry?

I have always used the old couple who have a shop opposite to Kessiri Hotel. Very reasonable prices too.

New government to Military: Oh dear! No go, I'm afraid. We'll just have to cancel the sub.
They paid China 37 Billion Baht for a Frigate, that is a Submarine support vehicle too!

Exactly. How does changing requirements stop this?
As usual, they deal with the problem, instead of the cause.

Thanks! Just to be clear, I'll be extending my Non-O 90 day visa that I got in Laos, this will be my first 12 month extension. Do you know what documents I need to bring with me?
I enquired only last week, at an IO linked to Ubon and despite me doing my last 12years B visa extensions there, they insisted on seeing 12 months' income from abroad, to get a retirement visa on that basis.

I have searched high and low for that in Thailand.
Well I went to Rim Ping Chiang Mai and they don't have it.
BUT they have HP sauce, as does Lotus and I think Big C as well!
I get mine via Lazada.

Paddy'? ????
Yes, I saw that before posting, hence the word 'slightly'

The word 'Veteran' is slightly misleading. This event was (supposedly) for the benefit of old/infirm citizens and nothing to do with ex-military people.
