I feel really sad for the Thai children who are being taught sub standard English by sub standard teachers. Most of which are doing it because they cannot do anything else.

I wonder if the clampdowns have dampened everything. Sounds like it!
Dampened is a word i would put on Pattaya. When the bars are not ringing in the Baht its clear to see the Thai smile not in evidence. Which i might add reflects on the punter & his night out.
The 1 o clock closing gave Pattaya a pathetic feel. All dressed up ready for the ball when the lights go out & music turned of. Incidentally the music was being monitored by the police so many bars had it low all night.
You get dressed up to impress the prostitutes how sad, could wear a dustbin liner and you can take home something tasty as long as you have the quoted price in your dirty sweaty palm.
Day of the Sex tourist are now numbered, yipee.

Why marry one, leave them in the mud huts so they are cheaper for us (the ones that live here) its you 2 week tourists that put the price up.

Try the Thermae on Sukhumvit, just ask someone they will show you, also you will find nice girls in the Grace Hotel, Soi 3 Nana Neua.
Yeah, the girls there like fishing too. They've caught many a farang using hook, line and sinker.
They still keep coming, the stupid farang.

Never come across a Thai woman that said NO, had to work at the price sometimes, paid over the top for a Black and White but just had to have it, walking around Moobiecon, 2 hours for 4,000 baht and 18 yrs old.

From experience:
*Never move a Thai girl in with you.
*Play the field, because in Thailand, everyone else does or will do it for you.
*Never live in single room accomadation

My posts are from experiences, and as some of you agreed, there are a breed of louts inhabiting this country fast. What can you do? Wait til their cash runs out and they <deleted> off?
One simple rule for farangs should come into play and it should be enforced strictly: Ban them from wearing shorts and sandals. This would enhance their reputation ten fold in the eyes of the locals.

Absolutely nothing wrong with wearing shorts and sandals in any part of los as long as you're respectful and don't wear a vest or no top at all away from the beach resorts. It's cooler in this climate, easy, and this is how much of the thai population dress in general.
We should show some respect, how often do you see a guy without a shirt on.

Is it fair that
farmers(thai) work all day long under the sun just to get 1 or 2 thousand baht a month.
factory workers working 12 hours a day to get 5000 baht a month.
whilst me working 9 days only a month and receive more than HK$20000/thai baht 100,000,
whilst some govt. on the other side of the planet buy people beer and send them to watch football matches.
Not criticizing anything, but what is "fair"?
There are people from Vietnam smuggling themselves into HK, committing crimes for the purpose of getting caught so they would be allowed? to stay in the prison in HK where they could earn some money to go back.
For some unlucky people on this planet, your so-called prisons are heaven to them already!
Give some of your cash to the needy then.
